  1. Pro-tip - BART on weekends is more like commuter rail than a subway. You wouldn't just randomly show up to Caltrain or Amtrak expecting to 'hop on' the next train.

  2. BART "schedules" became a joke after every other train gets cancelled or there are delays due to fare enforcement, police activity, and what have you.

  3. I also find that sometimes after taking Ketamine, I don’t feel relaxed, but have that anxious feeling in my body. Ketamine is not like other anti anxiety drugs, where you just take it and you know what the effects of it will be like clockwork. My experience is that my mindset is more suggestible after taking ketamine. So, I try to pair it with hypnotic and relaxing music at the same time. Even if it’s just for a little while.

  4. Exactly how I've been told to use it and see it. Tool, not drug. I've used ket to change my approach and understanding of certain habits. It's been amazing, especially by taking the time to journal and introspect.

  5. I feel it’s important the music have no lyrics, no huge tempo or volume changes. Chill but neither melancholy nor super up tempo.

  6. Depends, if its a song you know or love with meaningful lyrics, it can be quite nice. I had a very beloved song play during my trip and it felt like the lyrics were enveloping me with love. The moment the lyrics stopped, I dropped back into a different more conscious dimension.

  7. You can see the giddy smile underneath that excuse for a surprised look.

  8. I'm just imagining how awkward it would feel to hold it like a joint. The finger pinch would most certainly lead to worse aim.

  9. Thanks for doing this. Don't know why they would breakdown Asian Americans into their nationalities and not black Americans.

  10. OP probably didn't mention that this is by ASIAN ethnicity. That's probably why all other groups are just limped together with a 🇺🇸. Black and Hispanic populations are particularly nuanced because of their long history in the Americas and because of immigration.

  11. These are the same politicians that are against abortions and give airtime to nutjobs who want to "SaVE tHe ChiLDreN"

  12. I think BART would be better served with catching fare evaders. I doubt those drug taking masturbaters are paying for the privilege to do so.

  13. They only ding fare evaders who seem lucid. If you're high on a cloud, they give you the free ride.

  14. The cops/ambassadors also need to be allowed to do something. Write tickets at the very least but sometimes, physical removal is needed.

  15. That's only reserved for fare evaders that look like they can pay. If you evade the fare while walking around half naked high on meth you're alright, enjoy the free ride.

  16. These are gorgeous! Do you sell these? Or are they something you make for your own enjoyment?

  17. They have approved her ESTA though. And although I understand what they were thinking, I still don't get why they needed to put her in jail for something as minor as this. She wouldn't have escaped from the airport to be in the US unlawfully?

  18. While the other commenters are correct when explaining it from a legal standpoint, I think this is a worthy moment to bring up the ethics of how people in general are treated in these detention centers.

  19. I’ve seen quite a few asshats on YouTube and tiktok that own quite a few properties bragging about doing just this and bitching about tenants. Just want to spit on them every time.

  20. This man looks like the real life version of 🗿with that last camera angle

  21. Kind of...the easiest way to summarize this is that your mileage may vary. Generally speaking, most debts are non negotiable based on the contract terms. By law they can't settle for an amount that isn't explicitly defined on the contract. However, if your fall behind on your payment and violate the terms of the contract, the debt holder can find you in violation of the contract and claim the initial terms void. On the side of the debt holder, this allows them to write off the bad debt as a loss on their taxes. On your end, that means they are allowed to negotiate an amount to recoup their losses, knowing full well they are unlikely to recover the full amount from you.

  22. I'm guessing this would also generally screw over your credit score.

  23. Absolutely. Though medical debts should no longer be reported on your credit report under certain amounts.

  24. Damn, you even see where they were squatting. RIP their pant legs.

  25. You can use the BART app and report the issue anonymously. We have crisis intervention specialists trained to deal with such issues without having to resort to full on BART police. If you don’t have the app or underground and a bad signal I would say move to another car and call the operator and we can report the issue as well.

  26. Just to report on this from personal experience. I once saw someone undergoing a psychotic episode at Macarthur and we're hurting themselves (bashing their head against the wall and bloodying themselves). I immediately went to the BART attendant to report it thinking that they have a crisis intervention team at Macarthur (I've seen biohazard teams board there sometimes). Instead out came police and they put him in handcuffs.

  27. I've seen SJPD put crazy people in handcuffs and supposedly take them to the hospital. It's ostensibly to protect medical personnel, not to arrest them.

  28. Yeah, I hope that's what happened! Poor dude needed some serious help.

  29. Not to knock on this too hard, but I feel that these points can be applied to situations that don't have anything to do with narcissism.

  30. I personally thing that future fakery does enter into the narcistic equations simply because they get attention (supply) when they make promises and they get to see the anguish when they don't follow through on the promise. It's a phycological control thing that also has the added benefit for them of making their victim feel less than worthy of the original promise and therefore gives the narc more power and control. The high and lows of being addicted to the abuser.

  31. I see where you are getting at. I think on my end (and why I put my example forward), is because the things that I fail to accomplish happen because of other aspects in my life (addiction issues being a problem). On my end, shame is one of the biggest emotions that comes through since I feel terrible letting a loved one down. However, I get how this can be a controlling thing for narcs, and it's really fucked up to do this to someone willingly.

  32. NO SE PUEDE CORREGIR A LA NATURALEZA, PALO QUE NACE DOBLADO JAMAS SU TRONCO ENDEREZA 🥺

  33. Bro, this song is some of the saddest shit ever, but is somehow danceable

  34. Ben isn't an intellectual. He's an big good intelektshual

  35. While I agree with the ethos of the cartoon, I propose we stop drawing police in this blue uniform with a pointed visor hat. It's too flattering of a representation. We need to draw them how we see them, as poorly trained killers in military gear, outfitted as if they're ready to go to war.
