  1. You forgot Dietz & Watson. They make lactose-free provolone, muenster, & swiss.

  2. I graduated in 2022 and since then this is my second job. My first job made me extremely depressed and sad so I had to quit.

  3. Many office/white-collar jobs pay you for what you know and can do, if your job responsibilities at any point in time require it, not necessarily to be a busy-bee 24/7.

  4. My thoughts exactly. Why wasn't the first priority putting out the fire on the human? It's...something (heartbreaking/horrifying?) that they're standing there with an empty fire extinguisher and a body burning.

  5. Because at that point, the instant the dude lit himself on fire, he was a “walking” (metaphorically) dead man. I’m not joking when I say it is more mercy to let him continue to burn, than attempt to put it out and attempt a resuscitation. He wasn’t recovering from that, and prolonging the agony (which in all fairness, his nervous endings were gone at some point) is the less humane option. At that point, it is more ensuring that the scene is safe. And the big jug of fuel/accelerant should literally be first priority as that could exacerbate the situation and harm responders at the scene.

  6. Haha! "The woodsman's squatty potty!"

  7. So you didn’t shoot down Iranian drones like our troops just did this weekend? Like they’re doing now?

  8. The USA has always had a troop deployment, even under Trump, in Israel. Because, disregarding the whole conflict there and disregarding sides, Israel has been a geopolitical ally to the USA.

  9. There are some instances where canceling has materially impacted people, I remember one woman who was a representative of a company, made a misplaced aids joke and lost her job. There are some other instances like that. There are some similar cases. But yeah overall canceling doesn't do much.

  10. That isn’t cancelling. That is called a SHARP violation, and most companies worth their salt have policies against that sort of action.

  11. I discovered that the wow jeans (that’s their product name) from Old Navy actually have pockets. They are sooo nice to have

  12. People forget that one can hate the religion, but respect the people.

  13. The rails come in a separate box; it’s likely Rockler just didn’t ship all of the boxes

  14. It’s more like Rockler never knew because items such as large table saws are almost always drop-shipped from the manufacturer. Which does make this a SawStop issue, not a Rockler issue.

  15. ...stolen guns are not illegal guns ? Uhhh, sure, what a great counter argument lmfao.

  16. Note: Gun nuts have been against safe storage laws as well. Apparently doing the proper thing and keeping actual proper storage of a firearm is a step too far for them.

  17. Fascism: A political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

  18. Yup, they have a ton of them they are giving out. They were one of the libraries that still had them available. Not sure if they are out now though, so YMMV.

  19. Haven’t had a chance to look yet. I’m stuck at work for another few hours. Keep me posted on if you find any at meijer. I plan to hit up the one on 8 Mile on my way home

  20. Check your public libraries as well. Many of them are giving certified glasses out for free to residents.

  21. You have called me a fool, based on nothing than more than your own imagination. I’m speaking of people that I know better than many of my own family, that I’ve known over a decade. Whereas you, on the other hand, know absolutely nothing about them other than some vague generalization of political policy.

  22. No, they have called you a fool based on cold hard polling and voting numbers that indicate otherwise.

  23. Lol, if you think those polls are accurate, let alone a good representation of ALL Americans, I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

  24. Biden continued the wall, continued putting children cages at the border, he was a big reason why the railway strikes stopped, he hasnt done anything to protect marginalised people, he is actively comitting a genocide, he handled afghanistan so poorly that the taliban took over, he made the budget for police higher and so much more. He hasnt done any good.

  25. I like how completely unlearned you are in the actual nuances behind everything you are complaining about.

  26. Yeah and in terms of good non- vocal OST's in HSR I can say that argentis and hearthfiee in boulder Town are good ones

  27. You are missing Samudrarthra (DHILF moses cutscene theme), Pedujara trilogy (Phantylia), If I Can Stop One Heart from Breaking (Firefly).

  28. Mike Lindell's story is actually kind of sad. Former drug addict turned successful entrepreneur only to get conned out of his fortune.

  29. I don't particularly care for the government meddling in things they really don't need to get involved in. The prices of saws are already pretty ridiculous as is and this will likely add significantly to the cost. I also feel like the manufacturers will increase the prices well beyond the actual cost of any mandated safety additions. But I'm not a very smart person by any stretch so my opinion really doesn't matter much on the overall scheme of things. I just make sure I keep things with blood in them away from sharp spinny things.

  30. Yeah but people on here assure me that accidents are avoidable if you just don’t have accidents.

  31. I know there are a lot of Libertarian leaning people so it isn’t a surprise that cold hard numbers and reality get panned here.

  32. The definition of a one-man-army. Tanky as hell, self-heal, practically no dedicated support and still keeping up

  33. I mean I really wonder how people are having so many problems on that boss. Even pre-nerf with E0 characters, no actual healing/sustain with the sole exception of Fu Xuan, and a single target team, I finished it in one go easily.

  34. So you've HEARD people say this in the south? Like a serious person?

  35. Yes. I used to live in Oklahoma and Texas. The Daughter’s of Confederacy was highly pushed in communities down there, and they absolutely were using the term War of Northern Aggression. Even the town I was born in was a sundown town where literally it was split by train tracks that separated the “white area” versus “minority” area.

  36. Hey OP I understand things are getting a little hectic in the comments section so let me try to put things in perspective.

  37. I more so meant that most presidents don't openly admit to sexual assault, and Trump will so he's more honest.

  38. You can admit you are moving the goalposts. And also no, the guy won’t even admit to sexual assault either. Otherwise there wouldn’t have been a $83 million civil verdict against him for E. Jean Carroll.

  39. This is so reductive. "These people don't agree with me, so they must be ignorant or antisemites."

  40. Credible rape allegations… by this person? I haven’t seen someone this obtuse to the point you are definitely a bad actor trying to troll these subreddits.

  41. I lived in Texas for around 6 years and while I don't miss the heat, the winters sure are a lot easier to deal with and the roads are heavenly.

  42. That and not having remotely as bad seasonal allergies… and not having to sniff Bradford pear trees every spring. Do not miss it one bit.

  43. woah I had never considered the allergies angle. Is that just a desert thing?

  44. Cedar pollen during the spring and fall gets quite extreme down in the south and causes pretty severe seasonal allergies. Up in Michigan, I don’t even have to take an antihistamine every day. Down south, it was literally mandatory to take for half a year, otherwise you’d suffer greatly.

  45. It’s… almost like you can actually be against all of those things you just wrote.
