That said, hybrids are at least a step forward, electric is just another step. A more sustainable solution should be the end game.
Tesla model 3 long range has slightly less range than the BMW i4 and KIA EV6 has much faster fast charging than any tessla. Teslas fast charging is average by modern standards. Baterry size is also similar to other brands.

Honestly, W8 was less annoying than W11. W8 was basically a faster W7 with a quirky start menu. But once you looked past/got used to the start menu it really wasn't that bad. It also made organizing windows a lot easier than in W7.

Not sure I follow. A motor makes output at certain torque. iCEs are have power bands that maximize torque at certain run speeds (rpm’s). Transmissions let them apply that run speed to different gearing ratios, like a bike gear system. Same legs, different gears.
Engines are optimised for a certain load. If you are going 50km/h the engine wont have to work as hard as it would if you were going 100km/h. The engine will output power more efficently while maintaining 100 than at 50.
Engines don't output km/h or mph; they output RPMs. I think that's the part you might be missing. When you measure the load of an engine you're measuring it's RPMs in the form of horsepower and torque. Transmissions and gearing allow those engines to be efficient at different speeds at roughly constant RPMs.
The power required to fight of the drag is higher at higher speeds. An engine idling at 1500rpm will be much less efficent than the same engine pushing a car through wind resistance at 100kmh at 1500rpm. Cruising speed matter because it will have an direct effect on the amount of power/torque needed.

There are car washes that will sort of clamp(?) on to the tyre and roll the car along in a line. They require the car to be set in neutral to work.
