It’s where Mark Antony’s army camped during the final battle against Brutus after the assassination of Julius Caesa. You can see the hill across the way where Brutus took his own life. So much amazing history there!

My roommate works for Telus and they basically told all the employees in her department that if you’re not a valuable asset to the company expect to be laid off and replaced by someone in Morocco or The Philippins. They can’t afford to have entry level jobs be fill by Canadians.
Strangely, "May Two-Four" is kind of an Ontario and Eastern Canada thing. On the Prairies they seem to call it "May Long Weekend" or simply "May Long." Or at least that's according to this
