If the idea is to 'release' these homes to 'first time buyers' which seems to be the basic premise, than one has to wonder what the fuck they're thinking. The problem isn't that there aren't ANY houses available, the problem is there's no social housing AND no work. This is just an ideological cash grab that in the long term will just increase the issues in rural areas.
