The world. This game is so beautiful. I am rank 920+ and I still can’t get over the fact how beautiful this game is; many times I stop what I’m doing to check out the beautiful scenery. Since my main goal is to reach rank 1000 for a long time now, not realizing how long it takes, I’ve been going on some collector runs around the map again to gain XP.
It’s always been like this. Sometimes the texture is fine for other players, but most of the time, they’ll see it like in the third picture. So you can already guess the answer: there’s no solution for it, unfortunately.
The leveling up sound that you hear when you have a buddy with you and do activities, I remember the sound was fine to me back in the beginning and then they suddenly changed it to this high pitched firework sound.
How did you get the hat off cripps? I bought that outfit for him last night, changed camp and as he walked away I rode my horse straight at him but it stayed on. Hit him with a few dynamite arrows after and he still wouldn’t die and had the hat on. Any tips??
I relocated my camp, and when Cripps started walking away, I followed him for a bit, then took him out with a knife. Then his hat fell off, so I was able to put it on.
Congrats! I reached rank 900 myself on the 1st of January. Leveling up can be slow, and with the amount of XP needed, it truly is a journey. Here's to both of us eventually joining the elite rank 1000 club 🤠
I have a short scope on my Carcano and a long scope on my Rolling Block Rifle. While I occasionally use the Rolling Block Rifle for long-range sniping in certain missions, I find the short scope to be the most effective overall. The medium and long scopes are too slow for my liking, even with high sensitivity.
Could you tell me what the benefit is of a short a scope on a Carcano? I use the long myself on both snipers and for my Bolt Action and Springfield I use medium.
The short scope on the Carcano is my preferred choice for sniping because it offers a great range without sacrificing agility. Unlike the long scope, which can feel clunky to handle, the short scope allows for quick and smooth aiming, making it ideal for situations with lots of NPCs or in PvP.
Ever since I discovered the game I was enchanted and have continued playing it ever since. It's a beautiful game with a wonderful open world to explore. Even in its current state, for me, RDO is different from other online games. It offers several options. If I just want to go fishing? I can. if I just want to walk around and admire landscapes? I have a huge detail-rich open world and I can do this. if I want to hunt animals? I can. I can do this and many other things.
I have the music turned off for a couple of years because, like you're saying, it's getting repetitive. I always wished they would add more music from the story mode to Red Dead Online; there are a few tracks that would have been really great to have in certain missions.
They should also remove the time limits on all the missions. Sometimes you’ll have the bounties hogtied and you’re riding back to turn in a bounty and the fucking timer runs out. What exactly happened in our character’s world? Did the fucking statute of limitations run out or something? Makes no sense.
I always shoot them before starting the CTA, because it happened a lot when strangers don’t blow them up and I’m not aware of the barrels still being there and get blown up by surprise.
Yeah, it happened to me a few years ago as well. I was in a mission and I was riding my horse with my friend, but she couldn’t hear the whistling though.

The ones that always spawn for me are the one in Tall Trees (close to the shack) or just north of Strawberry.

Yeah, there’s this bounty in Armadillo where you have less than a minute to bring the hogtied bounty back to the Sheriff’s office.
