Don’t know why but I can’t see the text for this post. So here it is : My daughter (10 years old) playing with a 30 years old Macintosh LCIII. ( I feel old 😳) marchintosh
Adrian’s YouTube channel won’t help you for this 630. He’s focused on older Macs. What are the symptoms? I can see the resistor that seems to be burned but need more details…
Hi guys. Im learning coding for VT100 terminals. Currently I just set cursor position and write something. Is that the optimum way? As you can see I try to hide the cursor after writing some text by setting it to bottom right position. Not sure how to hide that the cursor
I don’t know the specs for now. I didn’t start it yet. I need to check the psu first. The motherboard is clean. No battery leakage (great!). Four ram stick (size unknown). No vram. Yes I bought it to run AUX !
Will be 25mhz 68040. 4mb ram built into mobo. Logic boards used tantalums so no leaks. The psu is typically good to go but CAN fail, in which case you can modify an ATX psu to work.
I have already replaced my Mac IIcx faulty PSU with a diy adapter ( I’m an electronic engineer) + a PicoPSU + Meanwell AC/DC PSU, every thing in original PSU enclosure! Work great !

NVIDIA AGP bus video card for some of the old PowerMac G4s (AGP Graphics) models.
I know that is a GeForce for Mac. I want to know if it is a GeForce 2mx or 4mx.
That's awesome man! I haven't found anything like that yet but it looks like when your done it will look brand new!
I hope that it will be like new … almost… I usually restore 68k Mac. But this one could be the bridge between my old Mac collection and the new ones.

The design seems to be inspired from SGI Octane !
Merci pour vos réponses. J’en ai mangé quelques grammes avant de demander conseil et visiblement je suis toujours en vie !
C’est légèrement sucré/ acide. Pas d’éléphant rose. Lol
Est-ce comestible ?

The Quadra motherboard is ultra clean. No battery leak. The commodore motherboard it’s corroded underneath the fu** battery. A lot of work todo.
What shall you do with these, restore them?
Yes for my personal museum!
