bo2’s story and zombies were worse than bo1. Each of bo1 gamemodes were S tier. Multiplayer was amazing. Bo2 was so famous and released at Cod’s prime all thanks to bo1 (and mw, mw2 of course)
Funny because nearly all zombies YouTubers (people who’ve put thousands of hours into zombies) always have 2 BO2 maps in their top 5 and never a BO1 map.
I love mob and origins but the majority of players (not youtubers who play 40 hours a week) dont enjoy having to pull up walkthrough everytime they want to play a bo2 zombies map. Same thing for bo3, except shadows. Shadows is really easy to remember because of the segmentation of the map, and even the sword upgrade I can remember after not playing for a few years. You cant upgrade any staff without looking that shit up. You cant find all the acid gat pieces without looking that shit up. You cant upgrade the hells retriever without looking that shit up. Do any fucking buildable in bo2 without looking that shit up. You also have to carry a single piece at a time. Moon is a perfect map for both casual and accustomed players. Those better can have skill expression during Area 51. Cosmonaut was scary. bo1 in general is scary and has a consistent style that actually makes you shit yourself when you get punched from behind.
