After about 2 hours of playing with it at home it's all gritty and grinding again. If I slightly pull back on the micarta near the lock it seems to be good for 2-3 flicks then it gets gritty again. Is the Micarta warping / bending and pushing the lock in after a bit of use? ....That appears to be the case which is ridiculous. What do I do about this?
Don’t wheel a stock you don’t want to hold long term. If you get assigned and then the stock falls 50% you become a bag holder. This is why people are recommending funds like SPY, QQQ, Russel 2000 etc
I don’t think so. They only have the 3 S35VN with a black 3D G10 handle. You can always get that and go to ESEE and buy the Micarta handles separately for $17.50 plus tax/shipping.
I like the bailout more now that I’ve removed the bottom pommel and swapped it out for another barrel spacer. The size is just a hair bigger than the bugout now but I got the version with aluminum scales and the M4 blade. My bugout is the CF Elite version. Also good but yeah, I prefer the bailout after having removed the pommel.
