Yes, exactly. The inputs on your Secondary half will mirror your Primary half when it thinks it is the master, causing you to have two halves of a keyboard with the exact same inputs.
It's possible to have different keys on the halves, that's right. However, we usually want to have keypresses from one half to have an impact on keypresses on the other half: for example changing the layer on one half should change the layer on the other one and things like that - shifting keys might not work as expected either.
I'm doing this for a school project and I'm just trying to keep the cost down. Its my first keyboard and i found the bfo9000 with diodes, microcontrollers and the trrs jacks for 44$ or something so then i just needed switches, leds and key caps(planned/planning on 3d printing a case) but then the shipping and tax was like 50$ so Ive decided to hand solder instead but its still more than i initially calculated so I'm just trying to cut more 😅
Only the master side is connected to USB. QMK does bidirectional comms over the split transport (half or full duplex serial or i2c). Master sends RGB info to the slave and the slave sends matrix state to the master.
Sticker has changed on most new msi laptops. Instead of it saying warranty void if tampered or broken. It now usually says "Factory Sealed" that way you know you can open laptop and upgrade it. Without warranty being affected! But it still depends on how msi has their warranty rules in each country.
Flux mini 2 is pretty nice kind of like a side chain The free plugins from Valhalla and babyaudio also and the meldaproduction free bundle. Ujam finisher micro is a pretty cool plugin aswell. Voxengo span and youlean loudness meter 2 are good for viewing your mix an making sure nothing's too loud, but they are just analyzers

Yeah, well it’s only an issue if you actually rotate two adjacent opposing directions at the exact same time. But I can understand the reason.

TRS is half duplex, Vcc, ground, data. TRRS is full duplex Vcc, ground, Rx, Tx.
So both don't need to be connected with USB? And would it still work with rgb underglow if i only use trs/trrs?
