  1. I strongly suggest you read or listen to the book The Dead Bedroom Fix by Dad Starting Over.

  2. That's vague. Taking care of oneself is more than just exercise and such. What else are you doing to take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, physically, etc?

  3. Regularly. My biggest pet peeve is a southern accent. Just because the diaglogue is southern doesn't mean you need to do everything with your fake southern accent. As a southerner who can't really handle legit southern accents, it's worse when it's obviously fake. I've DNFd within 2 minutes before.

  4. How are you walking her, how is it happening if she is on a leash, etc?

  5. It's in our back yard and is pretty unavoidable/unfixable unfortunately. Most of our yard is grass except for a couple dirt patches from poor sunlight and 3 dogs. But she picks just the dirt to roll in. Rarely just grass.

  6. I gotta admit my seal doggo gets bathed in a matter of months, not days. He will do the roll in the grass on walkies but it’s mostly shaken off by the time he’s home.

  7. That's how our other dogs are (mutts). They don't smell but get a bath every other month maybe. But bevvy is different...she rolls in dirt all the time and just seems to enjoy it. This is just our back yard so it's unavoidable too.

  8. I finished Just for the Summer last night and basically sobbed my face off the entire second half.

  9. Ugh I'm about 30% through and scared to read more because I want it to last! I love their banter

  10. Well because, as you’ve pointed out…. It’s clearly stated what the pay is…..they’re not “straight up lying”.

  11. They're not straight up lying. Just pulling some

  12. Do people just not care about order anymore?!?

  13. This happened to Phoebe with her voice with Smelly Cat in Friends...that maybe?

  14. I want a tattoo there. How bad did it hurt?

  15. I'd say 6/10 - hurt more than my wrist tattoos but not as bad as my top of the foot tattoo

  16. Good to know. My wrists didn't hurt but my feet did so perfect comparison

  17. I can't get over my suspension of disbelief to enjoy billionaire books. Dukes I can handle because they're remote, but we know billionaires. They won't shut up about it. We know they're not hot, and in the very rare case they are possibly marginally hot, they're crazy.

  18. I just can't get into billionaire tropes because I think of ethics. I just feel like ethically no one should have that much money so I'd be looking for every piece of philanthropy the MMC does or judging him for being frivolous.

  19. Yes. There is no ethical way to have a billion dollars. If you own a company and worked hard pay your people more. Donate every damn cent to save the rainforest or Doctors Without Borders or fund children’s cancer research or improving public plumbing infrastructure across poor communities. Literally one million ways to spend a billion dollars. You could keep your 5 million dollar home, live off the interest of another 5 million, and then donate the rest.

  20. Agreed. I know we are supposed to disregard some of reality when reading fiction but I just can't with some.

  21. Yeah. To be frank, I think if you can't outrun walkers over a half marathon (unless they're good race walkers), you shouldn't even be attempting to "run" a half.

  22. Dude I just ran the Boston Marathon 3 days ago. I wish I could safely run/walk a distance without someone acting as though we don't deserve to be out there because we are "slow" or they know our health better than we do.

  23. Yeah that's why I said that I'm not talking about people who are just average or on the slightly slower end and explicitly ruled out being beaten by race walkers because some of those folks are really fast.

  24. My best marathon is 4:58, and my slowest is 6:00. I ran boston while helping to guide a blind runner who did qualify to be out there in his own BQ time, and I'll never qualify on my own. But even still, I know I deserve to be out there (maybe not Boston but on a course in general) because I have the drive for it. People slower than me do too and also deserve to congratulate themselves without being told it's not a respectable time. It's about the endurance and drive we put ourselves through in this sport, not the pace. Sure it can hurt us, but 3-hour marathoners also get hurt pushing themselves in the same way.

  25. Definitely who I was thinking about when I was gonna reply to this……always carries American flag. I ain’t seen him in some years, thought he was too old or worse…..then I saw him a few days ago. No longer running, but still getting around.

  26. Used to be Roger on the point. RIP, you thong wearing, ten dog having, pink and yellow polka dot John boat steering, acid tripping in front of the 7-11 mascot of Innerarity Pointe.

  27. Oh Roger. I miss that flabby tanned ass

  28. Terrible take. Dead would be preferred. The more boomer narcs that cease to exist the better.

  29. Absolutely my husband. With Irish pub music mixed in with the Hamilton soundtrack mixed with 90s country mixed with throat singing while also putting together a mini Lego set.

  30. My boy Shane was like this. Especially if I was reading...he would crawl right on the book and headbutt me and not move till I'd give him full pets. He was so cuddly.

  31. The end of the episode with Carolyn the drag queen is so sweet....I love how inclusive it all is, but mostly gently humbling in a way for Peggy.

  32. We just took our (very anxious) dog to Vanity Fur and they were wonderful! We were able to get in quickly and they were very reasonably priced! We were going to PetSmart before this, but it was too hectic for our pup. For reference, we have a 65lb pit mix.

  33. I second this! Valerie takes care of our dog and is wonderful. I love her!

  34. «  and this is coming from an isfj who actually is pragmatic too » you are talking about yourself here or about me ? Sorry English is my fourth language so I struggle understanding it

  35. Because you are enneagram 1 not because you are an isfj because isfj is not pragmatic in all of things especially not with people

  36. It's also not all black and white. I'm an enneagram 1 yes but I'm also an ISFJ for other reasons that resonate deeply. You can be a pragmatic ISFJ.

  37. I LOVE pine meadow vet clinic! They are so loving and caring of my two cats! They’re always looking out for the best interest of my kitties!

  38. I hate when the characters have the weirdest names ever. And i’m not talking about fantasy books just regular ol’ contemporary.

  39. I read one recently where every character seemed to have a last name. Presley, Thorsen, Riley, Weston or something....that annoyed the shit out of me for some reason.

  40. My husband and I do!! It's made a huge difference for us. We get our own spaces to do what we want with, and we sleep better because we have very different sleep habits and desires. It works well here!

  41. Yes but I need people to answer my questions and assure me (and them) that I’m not crazy. And I should be allowed in one of my oldest friend’s house. Is that so hard to understand?

  42. Essentially anyone can tell you they don't want you in their house but no you're not crazy for not wanting to stay there. But 4 years later....I wouldn't even sweat it. Obviously life has gone on and everything will be fine. But if your friend can't get his roommate in check, that's on him.

  43. I recently started helping to transport cats through Pensacola Foster Kittens on Facebook. I don't know the full process for their applications but it's like $75ish for a cat and we take them to SNIP in Ocean Springs, MS. Maybe an option!
