No. I went through a phase in 2017-2019 of buying more than I needed. Ever since I bought my house in 2020 and have aged into the “would rather travel and see things instead buy stuff” phase, the only thing I really spend money on sometimes is food.
I have been traveling nonstop in the last 9 months and have little regret. I can always make money back, I can't always travel the country when I'm young and have energy.
Live in the suburbs, in a house with some roommates. I enjoy my current living situation although it will be coming to an end probably early next year.
You're right to be. It might only be a $4 fish but it's alarming that as a grown adult, she took a living thing under her care and then carelessly let it die a slow death with no remorse. Might want to ask how she feels about animals/pets in general if that's important to you. Just like there are people that love their pets, there are people that really could care less if they live or die. Not sure I could have partner with that mindset.
That doesn't really seem like nothing. Quite a few things you've listed there. I think it's natural that the amount of entertainment/media things that excite you shrinks as you get older. You see more and more as you age, and it takes more to build that excitement. Plus, these days we are inundated with endless entertainment which I'd assume comes into play.
The people that did those premium passes are long gone. Current DICE should probably stick to what they've been doing with 2042 and work on their output and quality with the live service model.
Brads dope. I only listened to him a few times beforehand when I would pop into Easy Allies content once in a blue moon back in the day. He’s gotten his footing with Summon Sign at this point and it’s starting to feel pretty natural. Look forward to whens he’s on Constellation as well.
They just explained it's because it's constantly in our faces with other medians as well like TV and movies, not just games. They're covering the news and being honest on how they feel. We come to LSM for their insight and opinions. If you just want a straightforward news article, go to IGN or something.
I feel you with Akame. Thought it was great but anyone I've talked to about it despised it and how it ended. I thought I was a pretty cool transition and still sad we never got a second season of it.
Will most likely be moving over to a municipality job this summer. Started as a side gig but they like my work and offered to almost match my current pay right off the bat and will give me a significant bump once I finish the required classes for it. Benefits and pension are pretty solid and job security seems great.
Doing a Golden Sun run as well. Loved it back in the day. Pretty impressed how well it’s held up as a 20 year old GBA game.

This happened one time back when I worked for Target and that was the push I needed to switch to direct deposit.
2042 was the final straw for me. I haven't preordered a game since. Wait for proper gameplay, betas and reviews.

It's really not that bad. Give yourself time to get adjusted to it, maybe slowing add less and less cream and sugar to ween yourself off of all that.
