  1. It still works tho, it was just kinda buzzing a bit when the bass was kinda bumpin. It just gets annoying. It seems to have fixed itself in the time since making this post tho 🤷 no clue why

  2. It could be something vibrating inside. If it does it again, try pushing down on the window button panel and see if the stops it. Mine buzzed for a while until I pulled it out and stuck foam pad under it

  3. Get a door knob touch alarm that will shriek when someone tries to turn the knob. I would also get an indoor camera as well that can alert you when it senses motion or the door alarm going off. You can build your case this way if they manage to break in

  4. I have one. It's good, kicks nicely, and doesn't take up much room. Do I think it's worth $900? Not really, but if you can afford it and don't mind the price, go ahead.

  5. Which speakers do you want to replace? Door? Back? All of them?

  6. I love it. Good job, I want to paint one now.

  7. Is the speaker broken or can the wires just be soldered back on?

  8. i think they just need to be soldered? but what looks like possibly clips on the speaker seem to be broken. it also looks like it’s a plug in one so i’m not 100% sure what the issue is

  9. If he's not going to be upgrading the speakers, I would just recommend soldering the wires on and glueing it back.

  10. You should pick a few other dialogue to see what he really thinks about Tav.

  11. You should pick a few other dialogue to see what he really thinks about Tav

  12. Nice, I might try that. Is the box cut out on the bottom so that the filament is directly in the plate or can I just plop it in a box and throw it on?

  13. You not be able to make it faster but you sure can make it better. Try adding some bracing to the body stiffer for increased handling. Drop it an inch or two. Add rear view, new head unit, subs, further amplify the speakers and just have fun

  14. Does the socket not fit into the hole of the rim or is it now fitting into the nut itself? I have 3rd party rims and some sockets won't fit into the rim because they are too thick.

  15. I'd avoid it unless the seller can show you the maintenance history and what they've replaced and fixed. I keep a record of all mine and I have a 2012 with 131k miles... And in the last few years I put in a few thousand for maintenance and repairs. Judging by the brief description you gave, I don't think the previous owner maintained it that well.

  16. this guy im buying it from had just bought it in September/October of 2023. thought it was strange he was selling so soon but he’s a kid so i figured he just needs the money back. i offered him $2.8k, he texted me earlier today and accepted it after not wanting under $3k for it but should i still steer away from it? he’s done an oil change and changed the brakes so far

  17. If the mechanic you brought with you is good and confident the engine and other components are fine, then it might be worth it. Especially if the repair and maintenance items are less than 2k.

  18. tbh first things first is the window tinting then install mud flaps later. i am looking into dropping it but that’s far into the future lol

  19. That's a good plan. Never thought about that flaps. The tints make a big change to the look. It's going to look great

  20. Thanks man! What have you done to your tc?

  21. I've done tints, dashcam, head unit, reverse camera, replaced all the speakers, added a JL stealthbox and then an amp to power the sub and front speakers! Best upgrades so far

  22. Might just be a plastic pin. Let me take a look at mine. But I did find this which shows the trunk

  23. I bought something like that, but I couldn't install it because of that plastic pin/snap. Did yours come with the plastic pin?

  24. Yeah, it came with it. You might be able to score them at a junk yard if there's one in your area.

  25. It's like a metal snap button. Mine has a dome cover on it but I'm pretty sure I can pop it off to install a cargo cover.

  26. People made fun of me but I absolutely loved my Corolla. I had the tc in mind for a few years because when picking a new car I wanted a few things. I wanted to stay with Toyota, wanted a manual, and I wanted something a little more fun but still practical. tC seems to fit those parameters well.

  27. Good choice. It's definitely a nice simple car. Toyota quality really shows on this.

  28. Oil consumption is on the 2az not 2ars. The oil consumption is only an issue for first gen. Second gens have the input shaft bearing issue.

  29. Odd, mine burns a little oil. 2012 with 128k miles. The dealer told me it has to do with the compression rings and carbon build up that wears the rings.

  30. Usually due to maintenance, change the oil every 5k and it should be fine. But obviously that's not a guarantee. Any car can burn oil. But it's not a major issue with the 2012+.

  31. Yeah... I think I made the mistake of being comfortable with changing the oil every 10k instead of 5k. Since I noticed it tho I've been doing it every 5k.

  32. The insides trash but the aftermarket parts alone probably worth that price. But I'm going to assume it's atleast 100k+ mi. With maybe some mechanical failure somewhere. 🤔

  33. It shows 88.6k in the pictures but the seller took the picture without fully turning on the car... soo all the lights are on. I'm going to assume there is a mechanical issue somewhere as well... Especially with all the mods on it and a hood that looks like it doesn't fully close.

  34. Wait I saw a warbond one that was available earlier. Was I supposed to buy it?

  35. For years I ran a summer/winter setup, I just recently went to an all-season. For winter tires specifically I had Bridgestone Blizzak WS-90’s and Falken Azenis FK520s for summer which felt perfect. Now I don’t have space for a second set so before I moved I got Falken Sincera SN250 A/S’s and they ride just as well as the 520’s but are more touring oriented. I’ll have to see how they are in the winter, but thus far I love them

  36. I run the Blizzak WS-90 all year round. I got lazy last spring and didn't change them out. Surprisingly they performed really well all year.

  37. How’s the wear on them? I noticed (back in IL) when we would get a week of abnormally high temps in the winter ~ 50-60 degrees in December, I would take a heavy mpg dip and they seemed noisier

  38. I would say wear is more then normal. It's expect though but it sure does feel very grippy. Especially going 40 mph on the curved exit ramps. It feels like you can push it more without issue. Didn't notice much of a dip with gas mileage. I get about 27 mpg mostly highway but I would get more if it wasn't for the shitty rush hour traffic.

  39. Don't throw raphaels body on the ground either, this aggroed duke ravenguard and wyll for some reason. I just wanted to show mizora whos the boss around here.

  40. Throwing Mintharas dead body in camp didn't do anything... But throwing Mintharas dead body in the ground in Act two in getting a Kansif and Karniss and they will aggro you instantly
