How was Allure? I have been on Symphony and enjoyed it and taking a short cruise on Allure in a few months. I’ve heard it’s really needs updating/refurbishing and is slated to be dry docked early next year. Looking forward to it either way!
It’s funny but the ship looked nearly new to us - being cared for quite well. I supposed if I looked hard for stains and scratches I’d find them but she looks beautiful to me. The Vintages problem is our only complaint.

I booked a short 4 day cruise on Allure in September and I was just wondering if Allure’s aging is really that bad. I’ve been on Freedom of the seas which is much older but was recently revitalized. I know Allure really isn’t that old but is the aging really noticeable? Maybe I’ve just read too many harsh reviews that pointed out the need for refurbishing. Thanks again for your review!
Hiro is Amazing and Symphony is a beautiful ship. Just went on an 8 night a few weeks ago and liked it so much that I planned another for next year. You will love it I promise. Again, Hiro is absolutely amazing
Not sure if you’ll see this comment as there are literally thousands of them….but I really respect you for sharing this. You recognized your faults and you seem to be in the right mindset to make this right. Life is about making mistakes and learning from them. Sure it sucks right now but in a few years this will all be a memory and you will have gained a ton of knowledge/wisdom. Hang in there, you got this.
I did the Belize ruins in 2017 and I enjoyed it. I haven’t been to the ones in Mexico though so can’t compare the two but it was a really nice excursion
My golden did this too during a snow storm years ago! The local plow guy knocked on our door to let us know our golden Marley was walking around the block with his leash in his mouth. He snuck out and walked himself!

This video made my day! Reminded me of taking my Golden to Petco for the first time and he was so excited and picked out new toys and treats!
