Briarbinds would require you to pick up an ally void soul, which requires very specific team comps. Unlikely briarbinds would roll unless they add child to prismatic down the track.

I think the issue here is the obvious answer is to nerf the rewards at wave 10. Its still probably the better choice to just 10 wave and leave if you're strictly concerned with farming.

No, literally just make it so instead of it only dropping 1 bonus weapon from the escalating drop chance, it has a chance to continuously drop weapons up until 50 and just tweak drop chances to like 5% up to 50%, still giving out the guaranteed extra weapon at 50 ofc.

Should definitely give recombination a try (10% dmg/elemental final blow up to x10 stacks), it would definitely synergize with bonk.

I don't know what else Bungie can really add other than Building on something like the Coil a rogue lite mode with even more levels than the Coil that gets even harder

I think they should just go crazy into a roguelike mode and have is drop into the activity with no abilities, weapons (commons would be fine), and or super.

Not really, because if they were made available to all, you could just use banner titan with syntho and calibans or assassins cowl or some other busted combo and literally not have to use any other subclass ever.

I understand the logic, but, depending on the exotics used, prismatic is just gonna overpowering everything forever.

I think that’s why they’re implementing exotic class items with existing perks, so that if they need to tune anything they can do so without affecting the original exotic.

Could someone clarify for me please, it mentions under WELCOME TO PRISMATIC the fact that you can use subclass specific movements and class abilities. I read that as being able to use all of them on any class. Am I understanding that wrong or is what’s shown in the charts not complete like it’s missing more fragments?

if it hits four times, it procs jolt four times, meaning you get 80% back which is something like a 9 armour charge kickstart lol. this is before counting that you can proc jolt with other things, like hunter dodge (lethal current), voltshot, or activity modifiers

Homie, you can’t use sunbracers on prismatic, that alone is gonna save solarlock. This goes for a lot of the other meta builds for subclass, as none of their builds are available on prismatic.

You can’t use chaos accelerant either so the arm exotic that gives you energy off hits with vortex is also out. Phoenix protocol is also out. Starfire is also out. Homie, the sublasses will still kick ass.

I love the loop of the game, if they feel like Destiny 2 is holding them back then I would be excited to see what they would do with it. But this would obviously also come with the expectation that they have actually learnt from their mistakes.

I hope prismatic is a test for d3 and unrestricted building is fully realized when d3 comes out. D2 to me feels like an arpg that is being held back in major ways, loot, build crafting, and endgame.

It’s an endgame chase item, how is that a bad thing? This game needs more of those. At endgame there’s literally nothing to do after you complete raid, dungeon, and exotic mission crafts, since gms aren’t that enticing.

I’m thinking prismatic will be restricted or heavily nerfed for pvp, the exotic class item only works with prismatic equipped, so I feel like they’re definitely not blind to these glaring potential issues. However, you never know, it’s Bungie after all.

I feel like they should retie him with nightfalls (like D1) because once you’ve played a certain amount of time and have gotten the exotics you want, there’s zero reason to go to him, other than rotating legendaries.
