There seems to be some confusion about whether the box office saves you anything on fees. Just for kicks I just looked on Ticketmaster for Hootie tickets. 4 tickets out the door was going to cost $461.65
Maybe that’s the problem, that the shortest time period still feels too long for my comfort. That said, I have definitely noticed instances when it hasn’t worked. My Apple TV on my LCD TV upstairs can be playing Apple Music for an hour and the screensaver will never come on.
I setup my MIL who is 70 and her husband who is 83. I gave them Roku TV’s so everything is built in and there’s only one remote. They are the definition of not tech savvy and they were able to use it once I gave them a quick tutorial.
I’m struggling with coffee right now. Our coffee maker struggles with oily beans but we love the Kirkland whole bean French roast. I have not been able to find an alternative. Anyone else having this first world problem and found a solution?
Most newer coffee makers just have a mesh filter that doesn’t help with oil. If you use an old school paper filter inside the mesh filter it will help filter out the oil. It may even be better for your health!
Honestly, even if you just want a better 1080 stream watching in one of the network apps will give you better quality than YTTV. YTTV is passing along your local feed which is often more compressed than what you will get straight from the broadcaster.
It really depends on your local affiliate. In the past this would have definitely been true. However, today local affiliates often shove several other sub channels into their allotted spectrum. My NBC affiliate for example has their standard channel, a weather channel, and an old school rerun hits channel. Now there isn’t as much bandwidth dedicated to their main feed because of the sub channels.
Sports and the occasional live event like the Oscars. If it wasn’t for sports I could easily live without YTTV. When ESPN finally goes OTT I may dump YTTV.

My aunt is cleaning out old “heirlooms” from her house and she gives them away at Christmas. She usually includes notes about why they were important to the family. I got a few of those this year. Included in that box was also an old newspaper from 1973. There was no note included with the newspaper. I wanted to ask if it happened to have something to do with our family, but I was worried that would sound mean. As far as I can tell it’s just an old newspaper 🤷🏼♂️
Some "friend" pointed a revolver at my head and pulled the trigger. It was empty thank fucking God, but I was just stunned at first and then livid. I cussed him out and left the party, because fuck that shit.
During high school I was at a get together at a friend’s house who happened to be black. He had to leave for a few minutes but said he’d be right back so we could just hang. Another black guy he knew that was a little older than us was also there. When our friend left the older guy pulled out a gun and started pointing it at us. He kept saying “Ahh, I’m just joking, I just wanted to see a bunch of white kids squirm.” I don’t think he actually intended to harm us but that’s how accidents happen. I left shortly after. That was over 20 years ago and I still think about it sometimes.
Rolled oats and steel cut oats. Maybe not that much of a timesaver, but I can throw everything in and forget it, plus I make enough for a week at a time. Trader Joe's has a nice mix of oats and ancient grains.
I second this. Doing oatmeal in the IP was a game changer for me. I can put the ingredients in and go get in the shower and when I’m done I have perfectly cooked oatmeal waiting for me!

I just looked and there is a setting where you can have it come on in as little as 2 minutes.

You can still use Apple News without a subscription. You just won’t get some of the more premium stuff and no access to magazines.
