  1. I know the offense is really annoying most of the time but if Miller is going to pitch like this along with what Gilbert is doing I don't see how the Mariners don't make the playoffs this year. 4 aces on one rotation? Wait until Castillo and Kirby dial in it and they get Santos and Brash back.

  2. Don't forget about Brian Woo or Hancock. Our pitching is something to be feared.

  3. Marlaina will feel duty bound to use the Not Withstanding clause to opt out. /s

  4. I think Poilievre is more of a c**t than Trudeau-although I concede both are high up

  5. I must have missed the part where the ‘Pastor’ was a drag queen

  6. Let’s name them for what they are Christofascist terrorists and PP supports them and their actions 100%

  7. You mine it, there’s a town(now ghost town)in Australia that’s built on asbestos

  8. Check out Libby, Montana and W.R. Grace and the asbestos mine/environmental disaster there

  9. At these Galen level prices, I would do the same.

  10. We’ve got to make the phrase “ Galen Weston level price” synonymous with gouging- if it isn’t already

  11. Perhaps someone with know how could help start a Canada wide food Co-Op? I’ll volunteer to be member #2

  12. And all with the most powerful military bar none under their control.

  13. As a Canadian, I sincerely believe Trump will order an invasion of Canada. Putin, Xi, Trump and perhaps Modi will carve up the world into spheres of influence/ownership. A Biden re-election is the WORLD’s last hope-at least IMHO

  14. A bit off topic, but didn’t Fanatics take over Topps baseball cards?!Any comment on the quality of the new baseball cards?

  15. The only silver lining of this whole thing is how embarrassing this must be for Fisher.

  16. I would add that it should be embarrassing for Rob Manfred too

  17. My son lives in Grande Cache and I am pretty familiar with it. I live in the Kootenays. It is very beautiful in Grande Cache, but it has very few services. There is a home hardware in the little mall there and a red Apple Store for retail and that is pretty much it. There is only one grocery store there and price are 30% higher than the Kootenays. There do have a lovely Rec centre with a wave pool and a golf course. It is about 2 km from Grande Lake and there is a lovely beach there. It takes around 1 1/2 to 2 hours to drive to Grande Prairie and almost the same drive to Hinton. There is no Optometry or Veterinary services in town. There are also no clinics-although there is a hospital. Many cases at the hospital are helicoptered to Grande Prairie. Restaurant choice is very limited. If you want more info- shoot me some questions

  18. Incompetent leaders everywhere I look in this country. We need a big change in the way we do politics. One where every single news story about them isn't depressing as fuck.

  19. David Eby in BC is doing a good job. Polls there show he has a 99% chance of a majority in this year’s election.

  20. Hoping to see Mariners in Washington this year. Hey Nationals fans got any tips for this West Coast dude?

  21. Why in God’s holy name are Trump and his crime family still walking around free?

  22. Born and raised in Kimberley, living in rossland now. Kimberley is great, for the things you’ve mentioned such as skiing and biking you’ll love it. Bootleg mtn and the nature park allow for extensive mtn biking trails basically within town, the ski hill, x country skiing, rock climbing etc. the rails to trails in the summer allows for biking/ rollerblading/ walking all the way to cranbrook on a paved trail. it’s much busier now than it was when I was growing up, the town has turned into a much more of a recreational hub and families are out and more active. For instance St Mary’s lake went from being the best kept secret where only a handful of people would be there a day to now being so busy you can’t find close parking with upwards of 100 ppl there on any given weekend in the summer. If you’re from Edmonton you probably won’t feel the “busy” vibe in comparison to the locals who have been there forever to feel the change. There isn’t really a night life, restaurants and grocery stores shut down early like any small town in the Kootenay’s. My biggest complaint about Kimberley was that people are pretty cliquey, they have established routines and groups and it can be hard to break into the groups to make new friends. That may have just been my personal experience. If you were to ask me which is better - Kimberley or Rossland I would say Rossland. Rossland is half the size of Kimberley with a much larger better ski hill, and just as good if not better bike trails, and all the same recreation options. The restaurants in town are much better in my opinion, and the vibe isn’t as cliquey. I would personally never move back to Kimberley- but I’m grateful I grew up there. For what you are looking for I think Kimberley would be perfect, and it’s much better than radium and the other Easy kootenay areas.

  23. Just curious- raised in Rossland , but have had people tell me it has become quite cliquey. Thinking of moving back and wondering what your take is on Rossland now
