I'm pleased to say I had the critical thinking skills to be ahead of the curve when I voted for Bernier in 2015. It was obvious even at that point that immigration had become so fetishized in the Canadian public consciousness that it was going to get out of hand. Even criticizing the sheer numbers had one smeared as a racist.
If the alternative is PP not doing anything about mass immigration, yes. There is no good option. It's pick your poison. Ideally the PPC will win, end mass immigration and also hopefully do something about the wave of bullshit woke culture that has infected western society like a cancer over the last decade. But that isn't happening in reality.
So in this far fetched hypothetical scenario where Trudeau agrees to freeze immigration, that will still be better than voting in PP, being pissed and voting him out in 2029.
No career opportunities, no affordable housing, no hope of starting a family, like seriously what is a single long term goal young Canadians can still reasonably have? I literally have no future expectations because I doubt I’ll ever be able to achieve any of them.
Park it in highcross car park. Then when you come to leave tell them you’ve lost your ticket they’ll charge you for 24 hours. Take your plate off on the way in so they don’t scan the number plate. Will be £20 for 6 weeks indoor storage. Currently got 2 cars in there myself 😂. I store them in there November-April for the bad weather then get them out for the summer weekends and keep them at my unit
Live in the north, £30000 a year , so about 35k if we go into euros. Things are definitely cheaper up north. Spent some time down south recently and it was fkn 30 euro for 2 people to go to the cinema, not to include snacks. It was 4 euro for a pack of paracetamol, and that was Tesco. I had a nosey around and the prices were so much higher for the same sort of stuff I buy back home!
ONS have spent since March 2020 doing what they're now calling "location neutral recruitment". Aka, they've recruited from all over the country in tech/research/project management roles that they're desperate to fill and have told people that there is no office attendance requirement. ONS has pushed hard to fill vacancies so that they could deliver a hugely increased remit after the start of the pandemic. There's about 10-20 people who live in Northern Ireland for god's sake. If ONS wants to expand, as it legally now has to, there simply aren't enough analysts who live in Newport. I will downvote and it ain't true.
I wonder why it’s only Ulster and isn’t going more mainstream (i.e Natwest and RBS). Perhaps trying to minimize the uptake since I can’t imagine Ulster is vastly popular outside NI.

Bit like sub 1.

If PP doesn't do anything he will be out in one term. People are so fed up right now.
So in this far fetched hypothetical scenario where Trudeau agrees to freeze immigration, that will still be better than voting in PP, being pissed and voting him out in 2029.
Trudeau won't do shit.
This isn't real.
Even the presenter doesn't want prices to crash.
Labour politician criticises Tory politician. Just par for the course no?

They can have a joint.
I’ve said it already but like half of the under 30 demographic wasn’t even eligible to vote when Trudeau was elected, I was in elementary school.
30 now. Would have been 22 when Trudeau first elected.
So does this mean we are set up for another crash?
How does the landlocked country go underwater lol
Bill Maher is a bleeding heart liberal.
I am assuming you brought your jobs from Ontario? How does that work?
My partner is native NS lol
But you said you have out of province jobs.

Seriously? Genius move.
I've moved from Belfast to Coventry and I'm paying £230 a month
And what were you previously paying in Belfast?
Not 100% sure as it was rolled into the rent. We were paying £570 a month for a 3 bed semi detached.
570 a month. Absolutely brilliant. Bar parts of the North East and West of England you would never find rent like that in any other part of the UK.
The literal definition of a champagne socialist
He is probably wishing he had done what you are doing.
NS was cheap in 2019.

4 Euros for paracetamol?
Yep! I pay usually 50-60p for them in a chemist or tesco at home. I was shocked at the price of stuff!
Northern Ireland just seems far cheaper than the Republic.
I think most people over 30 probably learned with a manual as their first car/parents ca
No way. Literally not true. Stick shift is vanishingly rare in NA.
I will say in the UK they don't add new lanes mid-way thru the round around. They keep it simple.
North Americans can't cope with roundabouts or manual gears.
Estate Agents are basically scumbags. Why are you surprised?

Downvote over the amount of public sympathy?
Yeah I have recently opened it for a £200 incentive and was thinking of closing it, might be worth keeping it now
5.2% is epic.

Yeh I checked with NatWest and RBS and they aren't offering it. Usually if one of the above banks offers it, it spreads through the network.
