Well, in some places the trails are only permitted to be as big as they currently are and landowners might not like to see widening of the trails. Another issue is that riding around puddles can actually make them bigger sometimes as the edges get compacted and lower.
Your list makes sense to me. You’ll be on the side by sides for 2-3 hours most likely. You could play golf at Dixie Red hills which is a wonderful small/fun course for the golfers in your group and it’s not intimidating for the non-golfers
I've started going commando in teams of 4, trying to complete a main objective elsewhere while my team does another just because I like the challenge. 1 it makes the game a lot more fun for me personally and 2 I think it's a pretty efficient way to do things, as if the solo member dies the worst that happens is his teammates reinforce him, and if he doesn't you do objectives way faster
I sold my road bike since it was too dangerous where I lived. Got a mountain bike and did that a couple years. But it’s hard to log a lot of easy miles on a mountain bike. My fitness suffered. And I missed that open road or riding with others feeling. So I got a gravel bike. I can leave from my door and be on gravel in minutes. It’s so refreshing. Also, I can ride gravel after a rain which I can’t do on our mountain bike trails.
Trail gets widened when you go around.
Dumb question. What’s the problem with that? Not trying to be cute

Stay at wood ash rye if you can. Great restaurant. Drive 5 minutes to pioneer park and walk around.
Congratulations! It’s such a fun bike. I’ve been tearing it up here in southern Utah on mine
Amazing you only travel 2 weeks per year. Is that accurate?
Yes
That makes sense

I’m in a similar position. I crashed my mtb and decided I wanted to mix it up and got a gravel bike
