Personally, I feel that the default button mapping is less of an issue for people than actually learning how to properly use any given weapon. An optional weapon walkthrough on the controls and the expected use for each weapon type accessible through the training room would certainly clear up a lot of confusion from new players. This could also explain certain mechanics that may not be obvious at first glance, such as Foresight Slash and the SnS Backhop giving iframes, or that your guarding power is improved with a Charged Shield and Guard Point on Charge Blade.
In general, I wouldn’t assume desperation. But if a woman approached me, I’d assume something suspicious since my physical appearance certainly isn’t attractive.
i suppose but they don't really fit other than all being from World. Teo, Kush and Cham all counter each other (like the Fated Four) and even non-official groups (like Arzuros, Lagombi and Volvidon) have something more noteworthy like all being the first of their kind introduced at the same time.
For the Raths, Sunbreak does them the best by far. Rathalos especially was notorious for being a boring fight at best before Rise. It’s a similar situation to Kushala Daora.
We have...~30 monsters in Base World (excluding crossover monsters), and ~35 from Iceborne. If we get rid of boss monsters (Safi, Kulve, Xeno, Shara), we have around 60 monsters from World/Iceborne.
It’s definitely not impractical to bring over the existing assets from World, as Rise used a lot of World assets, too. Also important to note that the monster assets that were made for Rise/Sunbreak can also be reused in Wilds.
Rise/Sunbreak Rathalos is the best he’s ever been, and I’ll extend this to Rathian and both Metal Raths, too. I hope Wilds retains the improvements they made to them.
I hate Spiribirds as much as the next guy, but if someone causes the hunt to fail because they didn’t take 1-2 minutes to gather a few green ones on the way to the monster, they’re a jackass.
Wouldn’t surprise me if down the line they rename California Adventure in Anaheim to something similar seeing as how over time they’ve been scraping away the original California theme
They should at this point. The only lands following the original theme now are Buena Vista Street, Grizzly Peak, and what remains of the Hollywood Backlot.
I always thought that MH had a team that only made monster hunter, even having a separate office
Monster Hunter has 2 dedicated teams. Team “A” developed World and is developing Wilds. Team “B” developed Rise and Generations.

World Kushala’s problems are even worse than just removing the poison weakness.
It always bugged me how World neutered some of the returning monsters while making horrid changes to others:
Iceborne turned a terrible fight into a great one with Yian Garuga.
Thats why I assume if I like a guy, I have to approach him first.
Only 7?

You tried Iceborne Alatreon once and gave up?
GoW: Egypt, RDRIII, and Ghost II.
Excluding MMO’s and F2P garbage, I’d give it to Monster Hunter. That gseries is incredibly grindy, but in a fun way.
You’ll get used to him. When you learn his moveset, you’ll find him pretty fun.
Legit my favorite fight.
You claim to love Magnamalo and yet have hunted his species to near-extinction.
they aren't really a trio in the same way as the original 3
Correct, but they’re still 3 elder dragons all using the Kushala skeleton that were introduced in World/Iceborne. One of them is even a flagship.

100% yes.

I mean in the case of rise and world. They were being developed together for a time even before iceborne
Rise entered development shortly before World released. A lot of Rise’s plans changed after World exceeded Capcom’s expectations.
I question the intelligence of Kirin fans.
Lol.
Sounds good.
You can also use the village to bypass the Low Rank Hub Quests entirely.
My personal favorite is Astalos, but I don’t think anyone can argue that Gore Magala doesn’t have the best integration into the game’s story.
World has the higher player count of the two on Steam. If you ever want to play Rise again, though, it plays wonderfully at 60fps.
Dark Souls/Elden Ring
If you do get a Fromsoft game, OP, just be prepared to fail. A lot.
Its actually funny, I think monster hunter prepared me for dark souls pretty well
Monster Hunter has done nothing to make Souls games easier for me.
Raw backstep dodges from sheathed
Honestly, I find it more reliable to backhop while sheathed than unsheathed.
I enjoy flashbombing him out of the sky

In general, the people who say that Rise isn’t as good as World have only played World.
This isn’t Iceborne, mixed sets will give you the best results. What you find optimal depends on what you want out of your build.
