  1. Most of my subs are mushroom related and my eyes thought that was a fungus at first

  2. Find a farmed animal sanctuary in your area and tour it. Meet cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats and alpacas face to face in freedom. Volunteer if possible.

  3. All the sanctuaries in my area forbid visitors and volunteers :( I've been wanting to go to one for years

  4. That's interesting. Would you mind PM me the website I'm curious to check out.

  5. I’ll check out the jiffy seed starter mix! I also did want to add though that I already did add a casing layer of coir before I had the growth! Are you saying I be adding an additional layer?

  6. Yeah it just colonizes the coir. The Jiffy holds moisture and the apes pin right through it. Otherwise you get blobs most of the time.

  7. Did some more research about everything! Thank you very much!

  8. No prob! Good luck! And if you didn't know they are about 2x more potent than regular cubes.

  9. Thank you! I see a lot of text-to-video trailers these days, but not many attempts at „complete stories“.

  10. I applied back then for Gen-1 access as soon as it was announced. And now as they let in people for Gen-2, I was rolled over apparently.

  11. Ah thank you! How many seconds per clip does gen-2 allow? I'm jealous.

  12. Id say there's several factors. If you think of the number of innoculations points on grain.. not only is it 3 dimensionally colonized around each piece, but you can drop anywhere from 10-50 of those into your receiver, expands from each of those points outwards. While agar is nearly 2 dimensionally colonized and you drop anywhere from a single slice to many slices. Still way less innoc points and it has to then start to expand 3 dimensionally as it colonizes all sides of the wedge.

  13. Should I be switching to millet from rye? Been comfortable with rye for a while.

  14. Why are these orgs with good core messages so delusional. Are the people that they have stupid?

  15. Their message is that you should go vegan. You agree with this message. You are thinking about this, sometimes. Seems like an effective campaign.

  16. That’s not how it works. I am thinking about it but negatively, which means that I just think they are stupid for doing something like this. I never think about this tbh. It’s just that the amount of stupid in these posters is amusing. It’s like you like driving, you must hate the tyre industry. It’s just two unrelated things that they blew out of proportion.

  17. You think raping and mutilating mother's and babies in cages so we can needlessly consume their breast milk and eggs has nothing to do with feminism? Help me see your perspective.

  18. What rubber band were you using? The rubber gasket that seals the pressure cooker or was it a band you added? I sometimes use a little bit of micropore tap if a bag isn't staying closed while I'm loading it, but it is better to use nothing at all just to not risk it clogging up the pressure cooker. I would imagine if it was the gasket of the PC, and maybe if it was new it might have some dye come off of it. Sorry, that is the best I got. Doubt it is contam unless it has been over 3 days before it appeared. Also, good idea to get a second trivet to put on top of all your bags so that they don't expand to block the gas release, so the bags shouldn't be hitting that gasket.

  19. Thanks for the reply! It was a rubber band I put around the bags to hold them together. On half of them, I used micropore tape to hold them together and on those ones no dark spots. I will do that exclusively from now on.

  20. Hey friends! Im having an issue this morning I cant find info on. I sterilized these rye bags yesterday and when i opened up the cooker this morning I saw these dark almost greenish spots where they were pressed by the rubber band. It cant possibly be contamination so what is it? Thank for the help!

  21. Consider a farmed animal sanctuary vs a farm. Your kids will benefit greatly by seeing free animals that aren't being abused for profit.

  22. Ig @sarahmarlaneart and send her a DM. Best henna artist in town.

  23. No, an opinion would be "we should all go vegan because the alternative is evil".

  24. Anyone mentioning texture issues should be flash boiling for 7 mins THEN frying or baking it. Also add vegetable broth to the water boil yo add flavor.

  25. If I could go back in time to 13 and do one realistic thing differently, it wouldn't be smoke dmt earlier. It would be start a meditation practice earlier to be best prepared. An app like Waking Up works great. Also go vegan.

  26. You might find more people happy to listen to you if you wish them well in their ventures but would like to offer some resources available that a new business owner might be interested in that detail the conditions and treatment of animals at factory farms and present additional options available for a more ethically sourced product. People will never respond well to sarcasm or arrogance. Up-things not down-things. Instead of talking about torture and murder, talk about an evolving economy that is starting to appreciate and apply higher value to ethically sourced foods and how exciting and profitable it could be to ride that wave.

  27. This person literally does not care about ethically sourced meat/local/etc. They're a trolling vegan that is extremely aggressive on literally any post about food where someone mentions meat. This is almost copypasta at this point. Not worth the energy.

  28. I respect veganism, but anyone who mentions it is self-righteous a piece of shit.

  29. They are the oxo-biodegradable version if that changes anything. I've never seen this issue before.

  30. The most vulnerable animals are the ones whose bodies and secretions will be served at dinner tonight.

  31. Not OP but interested in the same service. Would an iPhone photo work or would you need it to be scanned somehow?

  32. You can upscale the image with AI for free at stickermule.com first.

  33. How were you before? Like did you dabble with vegetarianism and think about animal rights or were you a hardcore carnivore that didn't care at all?

  34. I'd say I was just a run of the mill American omnivore that never thought twice about farmed animals. The idea that farmed animals were suffering truly never crossed my mind. I genuinely wish an animal rights activist had entered my consciousness when I was younger, but alas we can't go backwards.

  35. Ok so you have no idea how a dairy works? You just had to say that. This was a climate controlled barn, they never had to withstand the panhandle wind, the days with extreme temperature swings, the dust that’s everywhere. Next a dairy cow is way more productive if it isn’t stressed. They always have clean fresh feed, clean water. The quickest way to get fired from a dairy is to abuse a cow, there is a 0 tolerance policy. Now if you have a legitimate point to debate that’s fine. But what you said is misinformation.

  36. Welcome to industry propaganda from the most violent industry in history.

  37. Ok I tried to have a good faith conversation as someone in production ag. You instead resorted to personal insults and so with that I am done. Have a great day.

  38. You are incapable of having a good faith conversation about it as you are an apologist and a profiteer of an atrocity. Idgaf about your day, stop hurting animals.

  39. You have to consume considerably more vegetables just to get as much protein.

  40. Lots of good points made in the comments. I'll just add one that most don't consider, the microbiome. The biome of a carnist is vastly different to that of a vegan. I wouldn't want a single drop of their saliva in my body, let alone their sexual fluids.

  41. I'm vegan, have a vegan dog and if I had to take a cat in they'd be vegan too. I was trying to make a point to the person who asked this how dumb the question was in response to OP comment.

  42. Oh poo, my bad! I apologize! My sleep deprived brain isnt working the best currently lol, carry on kind person 🌱💕
