  1. It is important to be careful with hand washing. While some clothes and fabric types require hand washing, materials like cotton can become very funky after a few washes. What I mean with that is especially the neckline, arm openings and hem of t-shirts can get loose and lose its shape. Since you don’t dry them in a dryer, it won’t take its shape back with the natural outside heat. Plus, don’t leave them under the sunlight because the colors will fade.

  2. THIS IS SO HELPFUL! thank you so much. Luckily, I don't wear anything fancy like wool or cashmere 🤣 I just wear t shirts and some tank tops, I believe they're pretty much all cotton. And for the summer, I've bulk bought (8) workout shorts just to wear all summer. I live in Phoenix, and short shopping seems like a drag(I've lost 45 lbs since last summer so none of those shorts fit me! Yay! Lol)

  3. The last bit got me lol go visit yo mama 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and ugh you really have been a HUGE help and have taken off a lot of stress/anxiety about this whole process. I wish I had more to say, but all I have to say is a big THANK YOU and I will definitely be referring back to these comments repeatedly 🤣

  4. Doing step 4 and then step 9 (in order with a sponsor) helps SO MUCH with this. Don't give in. I got sober at 24 and have 2 and a half yearsms. My life was SHIT before recovery. Hmu if you ever want to connect

  5. Thanks. Ive had a bunch of sober time under my belt since oct 2022. Even with my slip ups. Id say around 10 times if I had to count. Ive learned alot and I believe I can try agian. Its time to get serious. No to alcohol.

  6. One day, one action at a time. No need to figure it out or label anything. Just take the next right indicated action ❤️❤️

  7. We're not doctors, but PLEASSSEEE seek medical advice. Withdrawal is so fucking deadly. Once you're sobered up safely, please come join us at a meeting ❤️❤️

  8. There's something called YPAA! It's still alcoholics anonymous, but it's Young People of Alcoholics Anonymous. I'd be more than happy to help you find a local one near you or an online one!

  9. I know exactly what you mean. When I think about where I came from, it seems like a completely different person and life. I'm 2.5 years. Thanks for the reminder ❤️❤️❤️ glad we're in this together ❤️

  10. A professional might be the best bet, babe. I'm not a professional, but I do have PTSD and it sounds like the symptoms I had.

  11. Yes, I tried that for months right after, but I was busy physically surviving. Maybe it’s time to try again. Thanks.

  12. If you ever want to know what meth feels like... drink a QT(Quiktrip) energy drink.

  14. Glad you're back with us, and didn't make a run of it! Stay close-we need ya

  15. Healthy as a horse, in all aspects. God's got to have something to do with that... because with the amount I drank and the other drugs I used man... it could've been a lot worse.

  16. Hey girl, I'm 26F with two years sober. I'd love to connect, if you'd like! Shoot me a DM anytime. I'm an open book about my expierence, can help you answer any questions, etc.

  17. What about the numbers on an insta play ticket? Can someone cash it without the barcode?

  18. I don't have the experience exactly with it, so I can't say for certain. I'd just err on the side of caution and not post anything on this sub until after you've cashed it

  19. I'll tell you my experience briefly. Feel free to DM me if you want to chat more about it.

  20. I sadly can't tell you how to get out of it through my own experience. Once I went into a psychosis, I ended up homeless smoking meth in a cardboard box under a bridge. I had to have psychatric medical intervention to get out of that one. Any "advice" I gave would be just bullshit ideas I have, nothing out of experience.

  21. Have you talked to your sponsor about it, dear? Also, it might be helpful to read the 2nd paragraph(first full paragraph) on page 134 in the book ❤️

  22. A few of us from Reddit started an online meeting like a month ago? It would be like 630 PM your time, I believe, on Sundays! Wed love to have you as part of our group. We have someone from Capetown on it! We also have a WhatsApp group we chat through! Almost Everyone on there is from reddit. Would love to have you join us :)

  23. Sounds fun. When im back from running around the bush...perhaps you'll share a link in DM with me please😀✌️

  24. Whatup birthday buddy I clicked on your profile to add you and this post came up. I needed to read this to reaffirm that there is no reason to create chaos with the boss(es) after an incident at work tonight. Thanks for sharing this however long ago. Is it odd? Or is it God?

  25. Definitely God ❤️❤️❤️ he shows me the weirdest messages and I literally look up and I'm like "alright alright, I get it!" LOL

  26. I totally get it. Seeing the signs he sends me is a gift I robbed myself of for so long bc I was so emotionally exhausted from swimming against the tide!

  27. Same. I still do it. All the time. I'm getting better and better at it, realizing what he's sending my way.

  28. Put it on a little tray/cell phone or somewhere it won't shoot out(incase a big rock shoots out. Use a debit card and SLOWLY push down one side and then use your fingers to flatten the rest of the debit card. Repeat a few times. Then grab another debit card and rub the two debits card together, with the coke in the middle. KInd of "grating" it up. Repeat a few times.

  29. I went through the same. I thought something was wrong with me for about two years. I didn't have romantic or sexual feelings.

  30. I'm not really in a bad mood anymore 🤷‍♀️ I'll hit you up next time I am. We can argue.

  31. Trump is possibly one of the greatest presidents of the last 50 years.

  32. Lol is that your real opinion or did you make up a stupid one for this post

  33. I'm in Midwest Canada in a big rid. I'll be fine, depending on the weather. I don't know how to drive a big rig but it'll keep me either warm or cold standing still for a while. That gas ain't gonna run out
