Let’s just say I could bleed straight thru those overnight maxi purple pads in about one hour and leak sometimes too so I bought chux and threw those all around my house and go thru about 3-6 chux a day depending on the flow that day (WHILE wearing the overnight maxi purple pads with my undies so everything just liked to soak thru)
Thanks for the information, I'm currently going through something not quite as severe as what you're going through and getting a bit paranoid about it, so every bit of information helps. I visited the ER las tweek and was told maybe some kind of hormonal treatment might work to ease the symptoms, though it's not a fix. Have they talked to you about that?

Water and a small brush, and lots of patience, can help you get rid of the glue. Just damp it slightly and brush the spine and let it sit for a while. Then you can use a dull blade and scrape away. Work in little sections so that the dampness doesn't reach the book. After you've gotten most of it off, you need to completely pull the book apart, page by page, that way you make sure no old glue gets left behind. Then all you need to do is glue it again, reinforce it and you can bind it normally after that. Message me if you have any questions about the glue up
This, but instead of using a round brush, I'd recommend a roller, like a paint roller. I usually put the glue on a paint tray and run my roller on it, and then just brush from the inside to the outside of the paper, so as not to get glue on the other side of the paper.
