It doesn't matter if the characters know, the audience doesn't know they're siblings until it's revealed (apparently) later in the story. That's how plot reveals work, dude. I shouldn't have to explain this to you.
The “tutorial” is really just the opening attack as yang and training montage where you run through the big five. But it kind of explains all you need to know. The game is really about figuring out how to use those moves effectively. I’d recommend learning to avoid (block + up/down) as quick as you can. Good luck!
