Krox were usable before they went up to 5 wounds. They're incredible value if you can put them into the right target now. They have the highest damage output in the army if you can shove them into a unit of 10+, but they fall off somewhat against lower model count units. I've been running them since they were 170 and 4 wounds and they've consistently been one of my best performing units, you just need to pick targets with them.
