The weapon wheel was always fine for me but I hated tool selection. Way too many options and no way to know when you’ve cycled through already or quickly select one thing without cycling through them all
Does Niantic not know what user testing and research is? Speaking as a PM it’s wild how much purely visual shit they fully blown release that people hate. Like who approved this project took it to the finish line and not once asked users what they think because I’ve yet to see any positive feedback 😹
Zo's side quest of restoring their Land Gods stands out to me in particular. There's just something about restoring the hope of a whole tribe. The singing was a nice touch too.
I definitely understood what you meant - you took a similar path as I did though I do enjoy the Ezio trilogy a lot but they feel like different games than Odyssey

Are you using headphones? Because they really take advantage of the immersive audio if the connection is bad I found that only some of the audio is nearly impossible to hear
These are strains not brands but most brands have them - Pineapple Express, Greek Crack, Lemon Haze. All are lighter more tingly brain high then couch lock. Sparkiez is a brand that has decent prices prerolls that won’t knock you on your ass

It may be a common opinion of idiots who can't handle non male main characters. You've seen them. The minute a female character isn't sexy enough for them, they slide out of the wood work. Don't give them any attention. It's what they want.
I like the idea that loyalty is his flaw. Definetely encourages me to rethink a lot of the scenes with him, but I'm not sure where else that shines through. Not giving up on her is absolutely not the same thing as disrespecting boundaries though. The game is pretty careful to have him not overstep. And that's the point. The game is basically using him to bash you with its themes to hide the fact there's nothing to Varl, the character.
She literally tells him to stay behind multiple times and that it is too dangerous and she doesn’t want anyone else to get hurt. He multiple times flat out ignores her request to go alone and even tracks her down several times and gets injured.
I mean all the cutscenes she is wearing Nora armor and all the tribes have very unique armors. So I would assume regardless of what you have her in in the game the canon is that she’s always in Nora gear
I started AC: Black Flag 4 times in total before quitting. Honestly I hate the ship parts so I just couldn't stand anymore at some point. However I forced myself to see the end of it last year and the last act is insanely good. I also felt really bored during those missions but it picks up quickly at Sequence 8. It's one of my top games in the franchise story-wise and worths every bit of the struggle.
I have been playing through them all in order for the first time and I’m on Black Flag and have 0 interest in it because of all the time spent on ships and have been considering just skipping it but I really wanted to do all of them at least once. Good to know it’s not just a struggle for me lol
I’ve never played Mass Effect so can’t speak to that comparison but I have literally just finished FW (credits are currently playing) and I totally agree with that sort of wonderment that came with the first one and how that contributed to such a phenomenal game. And I really enjoyed FW as well but can understand people’s qualms with it. I think for me my two biggest differences that impacted my enjoyment a little bit were that the map required a lot of going back and forth and revisiting areas and, secondly, there seemed to somehow be less urgency to the threat of Zeniths compared to Sylens and HADES in ZD. Which I do think is partially explained at the very end when they discover
The pinks of those sunrises stun me every single time. I haven’t taken this many screenshots in game since I played AC Odyssey. I also often find myself appreciating how expressive Aloy’s face is
