  1. How? Don't I need them to be transfered to substrate once it is fully colonized?

  2. You should try less grain or something. That doesn’t look right. I’m not sure your pC is sterilizing all that properly. Or your hydration is off.

  3. It's one pound of red sorghum... If I did less it wouldn't be a 1lb bag... Plus it's purchased from a reputable company. I have had luck colonizing these grain bags, I just fall short on the grain to substrate colonization.

  4. Just use enough water to make everything soaked. Like I take a huge chunk of coco off the brick and then bring two quarts of water to a boil. It's way more water than I need. I put my coco in the cooler and then dump the two quarts of almost boiling water on top of the coco/verm/gypsum and put the lid on it. Just let it sit till the next day.

  5. I used 1 gallon of water. Definitely had to strain the substrate. Used a bubble bag for that. Next run I'm trying 1/2 gallon. I'll still bubble bag it see how it goesβœŒοΈπŸ€žπŸ€˜πŸ‘

  6. 77 is a little hot. The mycelium will make its own heat, so get it down to like 73/74. Too hot will stunt growth as well as make it weak and underdeveloped.

  7. Thank you. It's been 11 days or so, haven't opened them. When I ran my room cooler the bags didn't grow, They seamed to thrive when warmer...
