  1. Grab your shovel, beacon and probe, this guys been buried in a sanderlanche!

  2. Muleskinner at Saddleback. Something real special about those Kennebago Steeps

  3. Nothing like cruising down Kokomo after ripping through Andre's

  4. Why did this sound like a country song lyrics when I read it?

  5. I liked it. Seemed like a fresh take in a lot of ways, especially since the source material needed a makeover with its crappy gender politics. “Nynaeve anxiously twirled her hair…’MEN!’” got really old really fast.

  6. Can't say I remeber her ever twirling her hair, but god damn did she tug that braid alot

  7. Ah yeah, that's what I was thinking of. The damn braid tugging. What other tics were there?

  8. The manacles are silver-colored, but I suspect they're probably made of dragonsteel (which is also described as "pure silver" in color at the end of the prologue), which is not easy to break. Could be that they're magic actual silver though.

  9. The problem I see with aluminum is that while it's magically useful, it would also probably be pretty easy to get off via mundane means (relatively speaking), and you probably can't attach extra magic to it because aluminum. So it'd most likely only work on someone wearing them entirely willingly, which seems kind of pointless.

  10. Ahh, okay that checks out. I had assumed that she was wearing them willingly, similar to how Szeth willingly accepted being Truthless

  11. Are you insinuating goofy riders aren’t trustworthy?

  12. My Wheel of Time collection has numbers on it. Very handy, even though I've been stuck on #9 for two years.

  13. The climax of #9 is one of the best moments of the entire series!

  14. To be fair, the best moments in the entire series are still awful. They're just comparatively better. God I wish I had that time back. Wheel of Time is without the slightest shadow of a doubt the worst thing I've ever read.

  15. I love the Wheel of Time! I started reading it when I was in middle school, and it was my introduction sprawling epic fantasy stories. I was amazed at how Jordan was able to weave together so many different view points and plot threads. I agree it's a bit dated, but I find it still holds up on re-reads.

  16. There is one thing bothering me in this. Why is Odium so hellbent to get Dalinar? Because this seems like a really good deal for the anti-Odium coalition. In any case, the war ends and Odium is still bound. What is so special about Dalinar that a literal Shard is willing to gsmble so much on him?

  17. It's leveraged to the hilt. Not hills.

  18. We're way beyond the hilt. It's leveraged all the way to the hills now

  19. "Upon his back he holds the earth."

  20. Aren't there some elephants between his back and the earth?

  21. Woah, you tellin me this pie scene was in Season 3 Episode 14??

  22. It's really such a shame that it wasn't Rlain or Dabbid that bonded the Sibling, instead of the story being basically The Kholins and their friend Kaladin.

  23. Kaladin is a de facto Kholin. He's like the son Dalinar always wanted

  24. I think there was a book without any Mat point of view and that was really disappointing after waiting years for the new release and knowing it would be more years before he came back.

  25. Right after his last chapter had ended in a giant cliffhanger too!

  26. Brandon's been talking lately about there being "lesser dragons" and drakelings and such, and this creature is probably one of those.

  27. Do you know what he means by Tamu Kek? I've never heard this phrase/term before.

  28. I always ALWAYS spoil things incorrectly if asked directly lol. Example Harry Potter is secretly Voldemort.

  29. Middling reviews but an incredible, incredible amount of popularity. As someone who watched the original as a kid I absolutely loved the sets, costumes (minus some wigs), and cgi and am so excited for the next two seasons!

  30. Since we’re spoilers all here- not Hoods gate anymore

  31. They may be just a little North of ya, fella.

  32. In the same ballpark, “do it Robby, do it!” from the Doors ‘Roadhouse Blues.’

  33. There's a few Phish songs where he'll yell "Play it, Leo!" right before the piano solo
