Just an update to this post. We are sitting at $509 right now, which matches the 0.5 (50%) on the Fibonacci Retracement. RSI is at around 44, so there's still room to go down.
I think during earnings report , the price could fluctuate a lot. It might be possible to catch a price lower than $440. If earnings (or outlook)are disappointing, < $440 is definitely possible. If earnings (or outlook) are good, you might not see $440 for a while.
I like it from a financial standpoint. I like the growth, I like the growing internationalisation. Having said that, I don’t like the growing China focus, since NKE shows slowing demand (and econ data; BYD/TSLA for that matter).
I think HSY is going to be very interesting to watch. I think they have bottomed and the stock seems to be forming an uptrend. I'm currently at an average of around $190 and hope to see HSY going to increase from here on 🤞
What's your take on HSY? I really like the business, balance sheets etc plus I think it really has shown some nice uptrend movement recently from its strong pullback, so I am wondering if the worst is over. Cocoa prices are still high, though, which concerns me a bit.
Mostly from statistical analysis of a 40 week EMA and how many standard deviations the price is above or below that level. Things generally don’t stray too far from statistical norms, unless some catastrophic news or black swan event occurs, and even then they often don’t stray too far tbh, but can go to a lower statistical level than usual (4 standard deviations instead of 3, for example.

EC next week and has basically dropped $50 since beginning of April. The volume isn’t there though, just the chatter.

I think this correction in the market was bound to happen, I'm just contemplating buying into the dip now or waiting to see if it'll go lower.
It's merely a pullback as of now, not a correction. If the market drops 10%-20% you can call it a correction.

Yup. Business looks good. Price looks high, but I don't know what multiple retail clothing should fetch.
What makes you think the price looks high? What's your assessment on putting a price tag on a stock?

I think PANW and FTNT are fairly valued.ø and have reached attractive buy levels.
I think that ADBE is difficult to predict the future w.r.t. competition and AI. I can and will not bring arguments on that topic.

I haven't look at sbux in detail, so I might be missing something fundamental in this company. But in general:
Looks like their revenue grew 8% YoY while their net income grew 20% YoY.
I'm not talking about the past year only, I'm talking about the last 10 years.
