I'm in this boat. I moved here for a life saving surgery I had recently. I only know my docs and nurses Ms I've been here almost a year. I'm almost 40, don't work because I'm disabled and have no clue how to meet people here. It feels weird
Your feelings are normal. The only way out is through and you’re going to feel a lot more of these. You’ll probably even have some even worse days where you just want to give up.
Thanks. I'm currently working on a set of boundaries and consequences. I never set them in this relationship, I've been way too soft. You know... I cook dinner for her most evenings after I've come home from work because she works late. What a fool I am.
These are punishments, not boundaries. Boundaries are not punitive, they are for your protection. You are being a doormat (and I don’t blame you, this is hard to adjust to). You need hard boundaries for your own sanity.
I used to live in Burnsville and go to the Burnhaven one. It’s not the nicest one in the metro, but it’s perfectly fine for a local library. It’s pleasant and near some other nice stores and the area is plenty nice.
I’m decently sure you could not if the weather wasn’t perfect. Gusts, controls, flaring correctly, not dropping early, not stalling because you pulled back to much, there’s a very good chance you crash it bad.
God this is dead on. I’m working on my PPL right now and am finally getting to where I can land pretty consistently in my 172 after about 20 hours flight time. The last few I’ve just been drilling landings in the pattern. Most of the time now I do well, but sometimes something goes wrong and my brain goes haywire and I can’t react and correct fast enough still (go around).
what does that have to do with patching them? i'm in edina and they patch that shit on busy roads within days. no reason a busy ass street like that remains destroyed for so long.
You answered your own question. The temperature only allows cold patch which gets ripped up again quite quickly. So on busy streets any cold patch is gone within a day or so. They have to wait for warmer weather or it won’t work.
First off welcome. My partner and I are originally from Little Rock, but have lived here for almost 12 years. I’m a straight dude, but the vast majority of our friend group is LGBTQIA. I’d be more than happy to connect with y’all when you come up here to Minneapolis.
9000 votes. That's what separates us from Wisconsin. Dayton won by 9000 votes in 2010, and that was really only because a third party candidate (Tom Horner) got almost 12%, siphoning votes from Tom Emmer. Look at the ripple effects - like you said, Wisconsin is gerrymandered to hell. The GOP will likely retain the senate and assembly forever.
The Wisconsin gerrymander map can go down a road to begin to be fixed with an election next year. There is a judge seat open that can flip the WI majority and actually shift the map. Just an FYI.
You’re a lesbian couple and want to live in Ohio over Minnesota? What?! Maybe there’s a small area of Ohio that’s specific to what they want that isn’t broadly know, but Minnesota us leagues more friendly to LGBTQ people.
Walz also just reinforced that on a radio interview. Basically said “checks first, then weed, sport betting, paid leave, and infrastructure, and social security taxes getting removed.”
God damn it. I came across this same dog but he was perfectly healthy at 3:45pm. I was heading to work and he started following me after I said "hi doggy", I then kept saying "Go Home!" and eventually he did, or I thought he did. Now I feel absolutely awful. So glad you took the time to get animal control because I didn't even think about it and now I feel like the worst person alive. Fuck.
More 350kw EVSEs on travel corridors, and incentives on <45k EVs/PHEVs/hybrids for household incomes making <150k a year. More solar and clean energy investment. More funding for MH and SUD programs of all levels, and particularly in outstate MN
Respectful opposition is great for democracy. Obstructionism that is rooted in racism, election denial, and taking away rights from women and LGBTQ people is not ever good for democracy.
I use to live in a town with lots of drug issues and gun violence, so that stuff doesn’t bother me as sad as that is to say ha. Thanks for the info though!
Some parts of North Minneapolis and small parts of lake street are iffy. But even that can be just fine. Crime here is not that bad, despite what tv and certain groups want you to think.

I’ll be your friend. Want to hang out?

This sounds great.
Flying Cloud Airport has a summer air show that has a lot of these features.
I don't know of any donut shops that ARE vegetarian. Most I know of use eggs in the dough and/ or fry them in lard.
Glam Doll has vegan donuts.

With guidance, most people could land a PROPERLY FUNCTIONING plane safely.

17 billion budget surplus huh
Surpluses can’t change weather and physics - huh!?

Duluth, Stillwater, Northfield, and if you want really small, Ely.
Do planes have horns?
No. (Am getting my pilots license currently).

Fair. I should say most do not. But yah, a select handful do.

I don’t understand this, and I probably never will.
Or maybe they like surfing but don’t live next to the coast? Oh no! Must be a cult.
Mushers secret for dog paws over the dog boots.
I grew up in Arkansas. Saw tornadoes all the time. Know friends who lost houses and loved ones.
Do you have a brand that you'd recommend?
Icebreaker and smart wool

Yikes. We’re a lesbian couple so i’ll definitely bring that up to her. She said it was really gay friendly there though…

Either side is to a point to only vote for more security than function. There is not a good representation of the masses in office.
What would good representation that is also functional look like to you? Genuinely interested.
The first… term? What do you mean by that. Did she say session?
Yes. Thank you for the correction.
Ahhh god I hope so. It only makes sense
Walz also just reinforced that on a radio interview. Basically said “checks first, then weed, sport betting, paid leave, and infrastructure, and social security taxes getting removed.”
Time for Walz to get vengeance for the GOP threatening (and actually axing) his appointments.
Send it to your nearest DFL rep and senator!
I’m very very involved in this work 😍
Isn't the BWCA Federal Land? The USFS manages the land.
Yes. The most critical needs for protection are federal.

If a dog is lose telling them to “go home” almost never works. Just FYI. You didn’t do anything wrong, but that’s not really a thing.

I need some up in the Gunflint area pleas
Being right leaning, can't say I'm thrilled, but I'm not far right enough to lose my mind about it. Hope they do well for the state.
That’s a nice response. I hope we do some stuff that makes you happy and improves your life too.

Great question and I appreciate your, rare, but actually thoughtful response.

This always depends on both budget and what you consider “safe.” Most of Minneapolis is pretty safe and really it’ll likely come down to budget.
I use to live in a town with lots of drug issues and gun violence, so that stuff doesn’t bother me as sad as that is to say ha. Thanks for the info though!
