I probably shouldnt say this but my friend who knows a friend of one of the devs said that Henry will be sent to moon in a car made by some guys that were drifting in Japan and he will retrieve sir Radzig's sword there. Dont tell the devs about this leak.
None of those RPGs make it so profound as KCD. In other rpgs you usually start as someone who magically knows all the basics and just hones their skills with more advanced stuff but in KCD you start pretty much as a useless sack of meat tbh.
He will be just ok but will have to learn even more new skills. Remember that he is thrown into a world of actual kings... not some local small lords and their "soldiers". He will see an maybe train with real army.
New perks, new progression, redesign of basic combat etc. Additionaly i bet that sweatlord, maxed out, immortal Henry in full set of +10 enchanted mythic gear is not cannon.
Honestly i did not see a single person complain about progression import but actually opposite. I see a lot of people wanting Henry to get amnesia or be put in jail for long time so he forgets all the skills and become useless again.
Do they really need repeating? I mean, one can argue endlessly with flat earthers, but it wont change their opinion, they dont care for observable facts their care for inner belief...its same with religious people, its all about feelings, when going to sunday mass makes somebody feel warm and fuzzy inside (and Im not talking about young boys and priests) they are not going to magically stop it just cause its illogical, they enjoy it so they will rather stay and enjoy it
No! Henry at this stage, is NOT a hardened combat master. He's still a kid out of a Blacksmith. You saw how weak he was when he tried to chop that reed. When Ginger in a Pickle starts, it's only a couple of days or a week at most later. He can't fight for shit. You have to train. Do you not read this this forum
I mean it is cool but id disagree with good implementation. The problem is that you might lose literally hours of your gameplay due to a bug or a single misinput... and additionally the second serious problem is that at the beginning of the game when you need to save a lot you basically cant afford to have lots of schnapps unless you have good knowledge of the game and go out of your way to learn to read, become herbalist and chemist for hours.
Its supposed to be funny but people like that exist nowadays... Groups of people gathering looking at double rainbow legit thinking its the sky daddy opening gates to his crib or something...
Nothing more realistic than armor magically glued to the corpse so you cant loot it. Id rather prefer devs to just lock best armors to be available from the start... and maybe make items more heavy so looting is not that trivial.
New Henry looks like old Henry! No he doesn't if he did then the it would look like Tom and not like Toms distant cousin, because the devs said there's no time separation in game between KCD and KCD2, so he should be just slightly older. Capon looks exactly like he does in KCD while Henry looks like someone did a face reconstruction on him. His skull is much more rugged and angular. His jowl is wider. His entire brow is wider. Not just fat but bone. This is like one of the biggest fuckups you can do on a much loved character is change his appearance. I've never felt bonded to any game character, but I did to Henry. This is a different version of Henry, heavier set, more rugged squarer jaw. Whoever is to blame for this should get a good talking to. You don't change the look of a character you've developed that all the players love because he's such a likeable character, not just in his personality but also he was a good looking guy. Now he looks like someones been injecting him with growth hormone!
Every single witcher game they completely reworked Geralt's face and it was fine. Let warhorse go with their vision and it will be fine... let them cook.
