  1. But I thought there was no such thing as systemic racism?

  2. Exactly. There is no systemic racism towards people that were legally allowed to be discriminated against, just 58 years ago. When they passed the Civil Tights Act of 1964, the people who own 99% of businesses(white) woke up the next morning, liberal as Bernie Sanders. They forgot about all their prejudices and treated everyone accordingly. They displayed no prejudices, whether conscious or sub-conscious, and they were genuinely sorry for putting black folks through all that Jim Crow nonsense. Governor Wallace even had a press conference, where he shamefully admitted that “separate but equal” was always “bullshit”, and admits to stealing resources from tax paying black folks.

  3. I think this should have more upvotes.

  4. Thank you, I appreciate that. With upvotes, it’s usually timing. A one word reply will get you hundreds of upvotes, if it’s the first comment. Us down here at the bottom, have to look up there 👆, and hope they drop a few scraps. I catch a “p”here, a “u” there, and before you know it, I have an upvote.

  5. The dude got the SC chair and didn’t speak for 10 fucking years. No comments, no arguments, not even a belch. He went up there and sat on his ass and got paid for it.

  6. It would be nice if every SCOTUS pick went through something, just so us citizens can judge them on their wisdom under adversity.

  7. I remember someone tried to write a hatchet job on Anita Hill that was so bad, the author himself disavowed after he realized the ‘proof’ he was given was utter bullshit and literally renounced his conservatism later on for being used to push the sleaze.

  8. At the time of the Hill hearings, I was a kid. My thought process at the time was, “Who cares about this horny old man, put wrestling on.” Now, I didn’t put a lot of thought into it, but even I knew he was guilty back then, lol.

  9. I am more certain of his place on the spectrum then I am almost anything else in life.

  10. This is why I can’t be too much of a dick when critiquing Tony. He has a legit issue, and he is trying. Plus, he is paying a lot of wrestlers to do next to nothing, which keeps their dream alive.

  11. Can confirm, I can recite festival line ups from 25+ years ago almost down to the letter for the same reason

  12. I just can’t read this article, because I know a small detail from reading about the market the last few days.

  13. And then he'll leave his house whenever he pleases, launching a 5-year investigation into the matter.

  14. Try he first offense for leaving, 60 days in prison. Secret Service works in 4 hour shifts, as Trump’s bunk mate, receiving double overtime pay, paid for by Trump.

  15. Norway is stupid to give murderers lavish cells. Just sentence them to death.

  16. A. Not everyone in Prison is a murderer. Some are worse, most are in for drug related problems.

  17. Good James did this. Because the way this guy got attacked and smeared almost feels coordinated.

  18. I don’t necessarily think Sands claims are a reality because he is being attacked so hard. That might simply be a case of timing and the fact that some ultra-skeptic had nothing scheduled to work on, so he started a Sands Smear campaign. If Sands comes forward a day later, or before, maybe it’s different, or it’s exactly the same. Sadly, as long as out government exists in its current state, I don’t think we will ever really know what they know, have, or don’t have. There will always be too many people on the sidelines ready to jump in and stir the pot, if they aren’t involved. That’s why I am indifferent towards any kind of disclosure. Even if disclosure “happens”, it doesn’t really happen, if you get my meaning. I strongly dislike being negative like this, as it feels like shit. I just don’t see anything different on the horizon.

  19. They’re also saying any president could do this including Democratic ones. Emphasis, any person that wins the presidential election will be able to assassinate anyone.

  20. Yes, and if the court is going to destroy the country with this ruling, they better not try some shit like, “immunity takes effect starting on 1/6/25” and not one second before. If they want to give immunity to presidents, it’s best if they get an immediate example of it, as Biden will probably use his new immunity to try and undo this catastrophic ruling. I know this sounds ridiculous, and I doubt there is case law to support anything remotely like it. This hasn’t stopped Republicans before. The ridiculous is always at play in our MAGA reality.

  21. You’re assuming Biden would abuse that power if granted. He won’t, and the Republican party is banking on it.

  22. I’d love to sit here and say “I don’t fear that”, but I’d be lying. Now, I do believe Biden has wisened up a bit when it comes to believing in the Republican, especially MAGA, menace. If the danger is not crystal clear to Biden, I’m sure some aides, or even a long time Republican colleague(probably retired) with some integrity, will get through to him. There are Republicans with some integrity left. Typically, they have integrity because they were brought up in a rich family, which insulated them from the real problems of the world.

  23. I’m a dad, and can tell you first hand; I don’t know shit. My clueless ass would have served mixed drinks for guests and not picked up on the weird stares, or comments like, “Wow, this is a very smooth vodka! You can barely taste it.”

  24. Yeah lmao my parents had a bottle of crown apple they received at a party 12 years ago (i’m 28 now) they had been saving it for a special occasion (neither of my parents drink) long story short when i was 19 i emptied the contents of the bottle into a jug super bad style and put the bottle back into its box fast foward too new years 2021 liquor was hard to come by due to covid and me and my siblings wanted to take a couple shots at midnight so my dad had the bright idea of cracking open the crown he had stored for us to enjoy and low and behold he opens up the box only to find an empty bottle of crown royal we all laughed and had a good time luckily for us the convenience store had MD 20/20 so we just shared a bottle of that like bums

  25. You know, not one of the many “from crown Royal to Mad Dog 20/20” transition stories I’ve heard is a happy story. It goes hand-in-hand with “mansion to cardboard box” stories. This is the first happy story.

  26. But if you misgender a transphobe's dog then they'll lose their shit.

  27. To be fair, I put dogs above people. My chart reads like…..Dogs > cats> hamsters> other animals> humans >= feces

  28. Hell, I’d love to see the arrest. The one time I saw a MAGA politician arrested, there was level of whine, and entitlement, so ridiculous, it was breathtaking. Would you believe they don’t “just comply” or follow the orders of a cop, like they say minorities should do?

  29. We're not the ones russian around all the time. That's all them.

  30. You should have known better. Every time I’ve said, “Republicans wouldn’t t go that low”, or “Republicans would never tell a lie that big, or obvious”, Republicans surprise me. To think of a recent example, “when various Republicans voted against the infrastructure bill by calling it communism or socialism, only to turn around and take credit for the future infrastructure jobs and projects”. I mean, they said that hours after the vote was announced, which was 50-50 partisan vote with the tie breaker breaking tie.

  31. Similarly, the Republicans passed that egregious 1860 Arizona(?) abortion bill, then Hannity spent that evening blaming the Democrats for not reversing it immediately, which they did try to reverse, but (as expected) the Republicans voted against reversing it.

  32. Yeah, they are minority. Sadly, it’s not much of one. It’s like going to a movie, and having about 40% of the other customers talk throughout the movie, and make noise. If it was just 1 person, toss them. Since it’s 40%, you just have to suffer their existence.

  33. the hell she trying to do, a cartwheel on the ropes?

  34. I would pay so much money if I could make this wrestler into a male wrestler, jump into a time traveling device and go back to Mid-South Wrestling in 1984, and have this spot performed while Bill Watts is on commentary. Plus, I’d love to be a fly on the wall when Watts tears the idiot a new asshole in the locker room for “killing my territory you worthless fucking asshole”, before he has someone throw the wrestler on the floor, so Watts could stand on their head, like he was known to do to fans who jumped in the ring.

  35. Was the wrestler in the ring supposed to charge at her and she jumps off to avoid that?

  36. If a wrestler needs to get from the top rope to the apron, what do you expect them to do? Just hop down, without a flip, like a normal person would?

  37. It’s a massively less important subject, but when early claims came out that Lance Armstrong was doping, I knew people that for ~5 years outright denied and didn’t believe it possible, because of his stature. They couldn’t accept someone could do something so dishonest on such a scale…. Which obviously pales in comparison to what we are talking about here. Which is why for a long time disclosure needs to be slowly and coming from respected sources.

  38. People didn’t want accept Lance Armstrong accusations, due to the grand scale, yet, it wasn’t a “grand” size conspiracy. In fact, it was pretty simple scheme, with only 2-3 people having to know. I assume more people know, and that’s why he got caught.

  39. I was just talking about Lance Armstrong, Nothing else.

  40. Damn, I think, just maybe, possibly, no guarantee, but, you figured it out.

  41. Sometimes, it's faster, easier, and cheaper to pay someone to just STFU than to drag them into court and prove that they're lying.

  42. Here's the link. Look, again, I'm not saying this guy is legit. I stopped watching him years ago. I just remembered seeing this and how it matches the description.

  43. NOPE, it don’t work like that. You put a link n the thread, you personally vouch for the guy. If he disappoints, turns out to be a troll, or disinformation agent, you will find yourself in a dark room, with a tiger, in a cage, while Michael Madsen gives you a lecture about being a stand-up guy.

  44. Agreed I’m fat and I don’t accept this shit at all. I look gross I feel gross and I get tired to quickly. It’s unhealthy I just have a weak will and can’t seem to get on a routine. And then I have dumb friends that encourage my fatness like “oh you’re beautiful the way your are” like bro give me a whole ass break everytime I look in the mirror I hate myself I need to turn everything around so I’m not some fat loser dying in my 30s and trying to tell everybody to accept my disgusting body lizzo style. Sorry not sorry I’m tired of being fat it’s nothing to be proud of. People who say
