But it’s highly unlikely that so many events would happen in the same places under the same circumstances with people in the same positions of power with the same outcomes, sometimes even the same names. Doing a Shogun-style production would almost certainly require casting actual Russian actors. And that’s probably a big no-no in Hollywood today.
