Municipal worker here. We do them periodically, at least once a week but we rarely go more then 3-4 miles from home base, the cops are working for the same municipal. I mean yeah we give it a walk around quick, but we’re not exactly doing the whole show. We probably should tho. 🤦🏼♂️
This would be my answer too. I always walk the teuck to look for anything loose that could fall off, leaks and tires but I'm on the same truck everyday so I know it pretty well. Once a week or so I do a more thorough circle check though. It's not proper but it's the way it is.

Thanks! I wrapped the original pickguard with stickers and then put a sticky clear plastic over the stickers.
Appreciate the info, thanks! What kind of pickups? The guitar is almost perfect for modding if you could easily get extra pickguards.
