  1. He was a child actor, most well know perhaps for his semi-titular role in Drake & Josh.

  2. He's been found guilty of being a groomer. So yeah, he's a groomer isn't he.

  3. No it turned out that the girl was lying. The only thing he was found guilty of was messaging her without knowing her age. Even her aunt and friend said she was lying about the whole thing. You can watch the entire trial.

  4. Yes we have to stop infantilizing them. I really don’t think anyone said “she’s basically a kid” when I was 21/22. More of “she’s learning how to be an adult” which is VERY different than being a kid. Since Covid happened people in general act as though the current 20-22s are children (and sometimes the 20-22s do it themselves, like my coworker who at 20 said “I’m basically a fetus" lmao). I do think they’re maturing much slower than us due to covid. Not just that, but think about it. They also went to highschool when ringcameras were widespread, and they could ALWAYS be tracked by their parents. It became a comfort to them, whereas for me, I would've just left my phone at home had it been possible for my mom to track me on it.

  5. You said it best. At 25-26, it was like suddenly someone flipped a switch in my head. Live fast..die.. die.. not now?

  6. Happened to me at 27. Now I’m 28, just about to be done with grad school, and drowning in debt because I blew all the money I inherited from my grandma on trips, going out, and treating my dog with glaucoma (which I’d do all over again) . But hey, soon I’ll make $80k a year so that’s something

  7. Freddie fish and spy fox were my sister and I’s favorite

  8. Do you even know the situation? A teenage girl started harassing him on Instagram and then stalking him in real life. He answered her a few times to get her to stop spamming his account, and then when he found out how old she was, he stopped talking to her- there was nothing to suggest anything he sent was sexual or predatory in nature. When he started to ignore her is when she started to accuse him of all kinds of things.

  9. Drake and Josh is such a zillennial show. I watched Drake’s part in episode 3 last night and am completely devastated. I had a little preteen crush on him and was so sad when the show ended- I always wished Drake had been the older brother in icarly instead of Jerry.

  10. Really? This documentary involves the child stars many millennials grew up with, why wouldn’t it be discussed here?

  11. Just the wording sets off the astroturfing alarm for me.

  12. Well one quick glance at ops profile shows that they’re a real person

  13. She said when you first met him. Not now. You said you weren’t attracted to your bf when you met him, so if you met someone attractive at the same time you met him who had a similar personality, you’d have gone for him then.

  14. No, I wouldn't. If anything, I tend to not trust attractive people as easily as people who look more like the average nerd.

  15. Alright then, but I think many people don’t judge someone they intend to simply befriend by their looks. I don’t care what my friends look like. I don’t think you’re special in that regard. It’s when it comes to romantic partners that it tends to matter for people. There’s a biological reason for it.

  16. Okay but when they touch peoples faces does it feel normal? What a fascinating and terrible condition. The brain is absolutely wild..

  17. That’s insane… I hope this isn’t overstepping a boundary but do you have some kind of condition that makes/made you look younger or were you just that tiny? if you have a picture I’d love to see! I was always mistaken for way younger than my age too, like in 7th grade people would think I was a 4th grader, but looking 3 at 9 is wild!

  18. I loved the Reese’s swoops so much and was devasted when they took them off the market

  19. If your company does not take this seriously do not hesitate to leave. Every kid needs to be checked by parents for lice every morning. If I was an rbt there, I’d probably check my clients daily with gloves and lice free spray on my hair as well. If a kid has it, the must be checked by a healthcare professional to confirm it’s gone before returning. If your company isnt cracking down in any way, leave.

  20. This is not actually accurate for lice (ringworm is different). The CDC has very detailed guidelines and is a great resource for understanding how lice spread. Lice do not spread disease. As long as no one has head to head contact or shares clothes or hair brushes or hats, that will prevent them from spreading. Once someone has been treated, they are fine even if there are still remnants (it takes a while to be completely lice free).

  21. Trust me I’m aware. I’ve had lice three times and know it spreads differently than ringworm. What I’m saying is that if her clinic fails to take this seriously she should leave. If the company isn’t ensuring every kid or staff with lice is treated, she definitely shouldn’t work there.

  22. When I was 5, my 8 year old sister and I were “playing dentist” with our little toy dentist kit. She was the dentist, and I had a VERY loose tooth. She hit the tooth several times with the toy drill or something, and I immediately swallowed the tooth. I was completely devastated and thought the tooth fairy wouldn’t come. My older cousin (who definitely didn’t believe in the tooth fairy anymore lol) called and told me that the tooth fairy came and gave her a lot extra when she swallowed her tooth once. So my mom surely rolled her eyes, and that night the tooth fairy brought me $5 instead of $1! I’ve never forgotten it.

  23. I myself didn’t go through one, but my sister did for about half a year when she was in 7th grade in 2005. In one of our photo albums, my mom has a before and after pic of her from this short period of time. The before picture is when she was emo, during fall yearbook photos. The after was for spring photos, when she acquired new friends and immediately became preppy lolol. I’m 2.5 years younger so saw her go through it and told myself I never would. Kinda wish I had now haha, guess it’s never too late

  24. And I was three lol, still have some memories of the year though. At my third bday party, I locked my best friend from preschool and I into my room to play Barbies and with my new Furby. I remember the adults trying to convince us to open the door and I thought they were talking to us like we were babies (we TOTALLY weren’t 😂)

  25. Yeah so basically they’re deprived when compared to us. They can’t operate the most basic tech that the world has come to be dependent on? That’s unfortunate. I don’t use TikTok or Snapchat personally, but to not know how sounds like more of a disability than anything else.

  26. 5% is bare minimum before you are in violation.

  27. Right but shouldn’t the BACB change that requirement? Why is it allowed at all to just have 5%? Like OP, I am almost done with my masters program and my hours. I’m about to start at my fourth company, and it’s a real problem in this field. Yeah, many companies hold their BCBAs to higher standards with 10-20% supervision, but why shouldnt it be that way across the board?

  28. As the youngest millennial, I have found it ended some time ago for most people. It feels that we’re creeping away from ghosting others in any context (unless they’re creepy or weird), and people are much more honest and open. Maybe it’s just because I’m in my late 20s, but I witness my younger coworkers talking about falling outs in their friendships and they always have open communication with the other during these times, trying to resolve or otherwise letting them know it’s best to end the friendship. It’s been an interesting change!

  29. I understand many places have seen the dying of third spaces with less people out and about. But sometimes people who live in a city like mine will say the same thing without leaving their apartment, except for groceries and work. They may be depressed, overly busy, or financially unable to afford going out, but nevertheless there are still plenty of things happening in the city, plenty of people out with lots of places to go. My comment wasn’t really intended for those who live in rural places which is why I mentioned it. Just remember that the majority of the population lives in a city - 83% of Americans.

  30. Again, you said in a city like yours. Where you lived you described it as a booming city. There are also cities that aren’t doing that well where many of us live… you are right that some people just aren’t looking, but I don’t think it’s fair to assume that every single one of these places have a wealth of things for 20 somethings to do, or that people aren’t actively looking for them.

  31. I get it and don’t disagree. Again, I’m mostly talking to people WHO DO live in cities like mine. And there are lots of cities like mine, I can name 5 of them within a 2 hour radius of me. I believe living along the east coast (or west coast) is a huge perk in this regard, with the middle states being the largely neglected ones.

  32. I drank A LOT in high school and college. I drank a lot during Covid, too- usually two a day on weekdays and 4+ on weekend nights. I never felt like I had a problem but I was tired of being hungover and wondered if I’d feel differently if I didn’t drink daily. Within the last year I’ve cut back a lot and only drink on the weekends now. Only 2-4, usually only on Friday or Saturday, not both. I never gained weight from it, I’ve always been small though.

  33. I can bet you money that someone with every name you can think of has been murdered, committed an atrocious crime, or has been proven to be a shit person. Your sweet baby Steve/Robert/Kevin/Anna/Kayla/Maddie definitely shares a name with a bad or murdered person. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use those names.
