I didn't get on myself, but I heard some of the people in the merch queue behind me discussing this and they ended up asking someone who bought one and was walking past us in the queue if they would mind letting them feel it for quality and thickness, they agreed and let them feel it and I heard them say they would get one after all.
My local tattoo shop does this as well, but I think you can see it beforehand, and if you want a 2nd chance to try for a different design, it’s an extra $25. I would assume that the tattoos inside are pretty basic, and easy-going designs, but I couldn’t leave it up to chance personally. If I got a toucan, I would be very happy though. I like yours!
Shop I've been to does pretty much the same but they have a poster of the available designs on the machine itself so you know if there's anything you want beforehand. Can also just psy $50 more than their fee and just choose one from the poster if you'd rather do that instead.
Tattoos are interesting to me in the fact that they have an ability to sort of time capsule your experiences. Yes, the things they are referencing may have changed, but that tattoo has more than the visual aspect to it. Your tattoo can carry you back to what you were doing when you got it, your passion in the topic at the time, and generally just remind you of the good ol' days :) I have F**kface tattoos, and theyre too hard to explain, they almost need qr codes alongside them to provide context
Do the qr codes next to them, but have one be the code that takes you to the never gonna give you up music video. Just a suggestion from a person who is eventually getting that same code as a tattoo eventually and thinks it would be a great way to f**kface yourself and others.

I think if you haven't read it yet, you might enjoy the kaiju preservation society by John Scalzi. In it the Kaiju are classified more as a habitat or an ecosystem than a singular entity because of the whole host if organisms that reside in or on them so the more if a forest than a tree analogy works perfectly for them also.
Such a great band and storyline! 3 albums and 2 EP's telling a continuing storyline but you don't necessarily need to have heard all of it to get it, but it does make you appreciate it more and help you understand what's going on.

I got a spice rat tattoo a few years ago, even if I stop listening to Face Jam it is still a cool tattoo of a rat with a pepper
