  1. 1.6L v6 hybrids. And that 1.6L makes 850 horsepower.

  2. Back in the 80s, they had 1.5L engines making 1400 horsepower (in qualifying trim)

  3. 1400hp isn't really accurate. They knew the boost psi but but hp was never really known.

  4. They could pretty well estimate it from fuel consumption. It's true they never put the qualifying cars on a dyno, but even dynos are just measurements, not counting parasitic loss. Horsepower itself is just an estimate based on the amount of work two ponies can do in a day.

  5. The TikToker is the YouTuber in this case. eli.handle_b is definitely the original creator of all of these crossovers.

  6. No worries. eli.handle_b.wav is constantly reposted without credit. I'm glad that this OP is actually crediting him correctly.

  7. I dont agree with that, remember if there is no traffic we dont need atc so they are “volunteering” as much as pilots, but I understand their point as well, if you dont have the experience dont come to vatsim and I know that they sometimes are rude because of the stress they handle but I fly vatsim for a good amount of years and I already seen many poor atc performance and never seen a pilot complaining of it

  8. Im not saying about time or effort, I am saying that at the end it is all volunteering, atcs arent some heroes that ended world hunger lol

  9. I don’t think people have an issue with immigrants being armed. Rather, the idea of illegal immigrants being armed that people may have an issue with. And it makes sense. Think about it- an illegal immigrant is here illegally.. they’re here without permission. They’re essentially trespassing. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure I would be upset if somebody were armed while trespassing on my property (yes I know there’s a difference between private property vs the entire county, but still). to be perfectly clear, I’m not really sure which “side” I am on here as there are strong points to each side. But I just wanted to throw out another point of view that I think is being misunderstood.

  10. Should illegal immigrants be deprived of life, liberty, or property, such rights being endowed upon them by their creator? The idea of natural rights put forth by the founding fathers is that all humans are entitled to them.

  11. Should a misdemeanor deprive someone of their gun rights?

  12. Can you provide more context for the Blackrock and Vanguard thing? I hear it all the time and my first instinct is to disagree because of who is saying it, but I personally don't have any proof.

  13. Blackrock and Vanguard are asset management companies. The money they have invested in everything isn’t their money, for the most part, it’s their clients’ money, which includes numerous retirement funds and retail investors.

  14. Which if it’s their clients money they shouldn’t be voting With shares purchases with their clients money.

  15. Not sure about BlackRock, but Vanguard index fund owners can opt-in to direct the votes of what they own. You agree to proxy voting rules when you buy shares in an index fund anyway.

  16. I’m guessing this is the canonical answer. Ao has limited the destruction of an outright war of the gods into proxy wars and this bit of legalism would be Jergal taking part in that.

  17. I think that’s also the reason he doesn’t care if you pickpocket him. “Ao says I can’t do things for mortals for free. He doesn’t say I have to care about my gold.”

  18. That's Nancy Pelosi, but yeah she does look a lot like Jessica in this image.

  19. 15 hours to make, that's $66 an hour. Not out of line considering the pictured cake in the article looks like it took 15 hours to complete. Y'all need to understand the value of a shop's labor. Then the shop discounted the cake to $810 so reducing the hourly cost to $54.

  20. I remember seeing a video on a Saville Row tailor that sells suits starting at £4000, and he remarks that each suit takes about 200 hours to make. Not even counting materials cost, that's only £20/hour. Do they really value their labor so low?

  21. Nobody who is considering a tailored suit from Saville Row is going to pass because they get a better deal from Amazon. Although, from what I've heard from friends who moved to the UK, wages are very low in general over there.

  22. It's a kingdom come deliverance reference lol

  23. Which itself references the historical events of the Hussite Wars.

  24. How much is a tear down and rebuild?

  25. Lol back in 2011-2012, NASA's budget was strained. Hubble was nearing the end of its life and James Webb kept getting delayed.

  26. Oh, I thought you were going to give a sensible answer like "check if it's wearing a yamukah, or see if it's circumcised"

  27. Cadillac introduced auto-dimming headlights and the Twilight SentinelTM (dawn/dusk-sensing and delay auto-off after key off) in the late 1950s. Nothing is new lol

  28. The 1985 (C4) Corvette had auto locking/unlocking as you approached or walked away from the vehicle.

  29. They literally teach that movie in law schools because of the excellent examples of cross and direct examination

  30. Probably my second favorite copypasta, beaten only by the masterpiece about .950 JDJ

  31. There is a solid white line way in advance of the connection so no zipper merging is supposed to happen. Gotta get in line. Red should not be passing the solid white line.

  32. Solid white line means use caution when changing lanes. A major part of the problem is people in the right lane not paying attention and leaving huge gaps in the line. In that situation, people merging into the gaps are just making traffic flow more efficient

  33. Solid white lines can be legally crossed. Double white lines cannot and can earn you a ticket.

  34. Yep, and look how many people didn't know what basic lane markings mean in this thread, and they're sharing the road with us.

  35. The people the anglerfish stole show up in the Unknowing I think

  36. I'm sure you can show a source that contradicts everything else he's said, right?

  37. Yeah, people keep misusing the meme format. Originally it was about beating seemingly impossible odds, now is just a slightly less cringe chad-soyjack

  38. It's been awhile since I've seen this meme format used correctly.

  39. Looks like it was a photo of some truck drivers. I doubt this is AI.

  40. That generation Civic doesn't need oil. The engine runs on pure fucking magic.

  41. Had a 1994 Civic in the early 2000s with a slightly blown head gasket. Just added a quart of coolant every month.

  42. What's crazy is, I work blue collar, and a lot of guys think it's cool. They don't get it, but they're super impressed by well painted miniatures. They still give me loads of shit for DnD for some reason though. But that's fine.

  43. Also blue collar. My shop foreman had "heard" of Warhammer, but he had no idea what it was. Showed him some trailers from Space Marine 2 and he thinks it looks awesome. Looking forward to crossplay as he has an XBOX.

  44. Dunst played either Wood Elves or High Elves in Fantasy, IIRC.

  45. I appreciate Orks not knowing the differences between Loyalist and Traitor marines and that Loyalist marines wouldn't wear tusks

  46. But they do! Loyalist marines are "Beakies", and Traitor marines are "Freaky Beakies"

  47. Wonder what the 3.2’s rods can withstand. I don’t want to find out explosively!

  48. I think I read somewhere that some newer Audis are also experimenting with electric superchargers, but don’t quote me on that.

  49. Looking at the 3.0t and 3.2 study guides, it does look like the supercharged engine uses stronger rods. They had to be specially designed anyway since the 3.0 has a shorter stroke in the same block.
