This goes a long way to restore my faith in the people of Earth

  1. Funny thing is, the poll here out of 1,000 people and the poll they themselves conducted on Twitter out of 20,000+ people tell different stories

  2. CBC is only admitting it now because they are getting absolutely annihilated on Twitter and even Carey Price came out against it.

  3. Well as long as the company passes on some of the fuel savings to the driver with increased pay.

  4. I was a hardcore liberal voter for my whole adult life. Not anymore, because of Trudeau. And these ridiculous bills.

  5. I’m governed at 130 but I always cruise control 105. I don’t even know why it’s governed at 130. Canadian btw.

  6. This isn't an LCV. It's impressive, but it's a B-Train, the wheels in the middle are part of the front trailer, there's no dolly.

  7. Are you sure? It looks like there's a dolly in the middle. I drive a super-B and it doesn't move like that 😂

  8. A dolly would have a pintle hitch on it, as do our LCV’s in Canada. You pretty much can’t back them up like this, I’ve tried, believe me I’ve tried. With two points of articulation between the pintle and the fifth wheel on the dolly, there’s no consistency of rotation. So it’s different every correction you make

  9. I drove a tri-quad for years and find them easier to back up than a super-B.

  10. DOS stands for "Disk Operating System". It was a method older computers used in order to store, and read, data on a disk (like the one you might put in a cd player or dvd player). DOSes often didn't have a user interface of any sort, as they couldn't spare the space on the disk for it. Hence, most DOSes were text-based, and you would interact with your machine through preprogrammed commands and programs.

  11. Personally, I'd just pay everything myself still. Maybe I'm old fashioned.

  12. I have no idea how to chain anything. Should I just fly and send a pod? Is there any way to divert around this at all? Maybe I90?

  13. I think chaining up is a necessary thing to learn as a trucker. Even if you're a southern trucker who never needs to chain up, it's good to just know how.

  14. 1099 is called something different in Canada and its usually shady companies exploiting new Canadians etc.

  15. When you haven't filled in your logbook for 3 days and DOT pulls you over

  16. Shit that's actually a good deal. These are American dollars so I assume that would be about $1,800 Canadian.

  17. My pretrip is just checking oil, coolant, quickly glancing over the engine/fan. The whole process takes under a minute.

  18. Knowing you could be posted no where near where you want to live is not a reason people might not want to be in RCMP?

  19. They already know they can be posted to buttfucknowhere before they even fill out the application.
