  1. Rocking, office, lawn, beanbag, bar stool

  2. Someone go put it on the Patreon.

  3. I’m a die hard Giants fan. A true homer. I’ve never thought anyone else was getting in and I don’t usually hear anyone arguing with that. Our success was never built around stars. We had some phenomenal pitching but no one made it long enough to make the hall. Big time Timmy Jim was nicknamed The Freak for a reason but his career was too short and his peak too quick to be up against the pitchers already at Cooperstown. The rest of the gang doesn’t come close. We had some amazing players that went beyond their career stats when it mattered but this article just seems like cold stove off season filler.

  4. I don’t know where Bum’s career numbers stand, but he strikes me as a somewhat similar case to Jack Morris. If Morris can get in—pretty much for his performance in one game—Bumgarner should get in based on his 3 incredible playoff runs, including the iconic 5 inning save in 2014.

  5. I don’t listen to Guess the Lines anymore, but I believe it’s because he counts ties as a point for both of them. Meaning: If their guesses are both off by the same amount, they each get a point that round. Very dumb.

  6. Tom hanks, any Al Michaels, old Half Baked Ideas with Kevin wildes, the Adam carolla Pedif Isle pitch,

  7. Lillard being 11 is ridiculous because he very well could be traded in 6 months

  8. Lillard is #21, but regardless, is not a ranking of how likely or not a guy is to be traded. It's about the haul that the guy would bring back. Which guys below him on the list fetch a larger haul?

  9. Barry Bonds for 6yr/$43million prior to the ‘93 season was pretty freakin great. Incredible value; led to their new stadium opening in 2000.

  10. 38/M, 6’0”, 175, don’t know what I bench.

  11. This is cool. Thanks. While making my picks, I noticed I was copying/agreeing with the BS podcast consensus most of the time (having just listened to the pod). A cursory glance at the results suggests that most other voters were too. So I’m not sure we’ll see significant margins of victory either way at the end of the season. P.S. There’s got to be a better way to view the results of the straw poll.

  12. It goes back a decade- it's the one bet he seems to have a legit edge on.

  13. Just listened. It's not exactly the same, but I'm gonna go ahead and take credit for this draft idea:

  14. I'm curious about the title of your post, as it relates to this one:

  15. That’s not deep house! Ironically Elderbrook is much more deep house or deep house adjacent than Malaa who is more bass house. :)

  16. Thank you! I edited my post to remove my ignorance.

  17. I have an issue with snake drafting because that's not how teams are built in reality. I think this would end up underrating a certain type of ceiling raisers. There are players who are not very valuable without another high level creator, but when combined with another top-15 player they give you like a 20% chance of winning the title.

  18. I think Duncan, Garnett, etc would do just fine with their 2nd guy being the 50th best player. Keep in mind: no other team in this scenario has 2 top 15 players. Every team is part of this snake draft.

  19. You may disagree with my examples, but this way you are only ranking the players' ability of making an average team better. I'm much more interested in players who make good teams even greater, because that's what wins championships in real life.

  20. Ok I think I see what you’re saying.

  21. Kind of a meta take if a player "is in the conversation" or "deserves a mention", they don't. The only people who should be in the conversation for best player in the NBA, or MVP, or DPOY, or what have you, are the people who you could make a fully sound argument to support them actually being the MVP, etc. Not just being listed among the other names who are in the discussion.

  22. I'm trying to Sell a Renaissance King/2passes package as well. How much did you get for it?

  23. Interesting. For me it's been the opposite. I'd say around the beginning of 2022 I got put in the hot-person section of Hinge, or something to that effect. It's been great.

  24. What happened in early 2022?

  25. I hope you’re right. But I can’t see how it could possibly help.

  26. Totally fair - and you’re not even wrong. I had a 2hr chat with her and implemented some changes and it was a game changer. I don’t feel bad about throwing business her way. I originally stumbled across an AMA she did. That’s how I heard about it.

  27. I really think you’re underestimating yourself and how a set of good photos can change things.
