I’m looking for beater cards. Don’t care about the condition. I just bought a Musial that was taped together. I’m looking for Mantle, Mays, Satchel Paige, Josh Gibson, and Ted Williams beater cards. I’ve never owned any of their cards. I don’t have a lot of money and I think it would be cool to have a little piece of history in my possession, no matter how bad of condition they’re in.
It makes sense. There is no reason why Wilson would take more than the vet minimum, since he'll the Broncos will make up the difference anyways. Saving $$$ lets the Steelers field a great team around him, and if he can land in the middling top 15-20 range of QBs, it'll be a good team given how far the Steelers go last year with total shit QB performance.
Very few people would advocate the culling of an individual happily and privately practicing their religion. Everyone should revolt at religious doctrine being with bias inserted or indoctrinated into a populations epistemology when they are young and it is still forming. Or when it is used to justify policy that restricts societal freedoms or human advancement by the “wisdom” of usually abhorrent religious texts that cannot be excused. And yes, you do not need religious motivations to injure a thing, perhaps it’s not very obvious, but it would certainly be nice if it wasn’t a grand motivator for many historical atrocities? Such as colonization, slavery, sexism, genocide, social ostracization, homophobia, etc. Altruism is not dependent of theism, neither is fair labor standards. I’m not going to credit perpetrators of these issues for what can more aptly be attributed to humanist movements and secularization that required a weakening of theocratic states to even come to pass.
Was this potentially taken out of context? Was this kid trying to refer to astrology, which is obviously not real, as opposed to astronomy, which is? For his sake and the sake of our society I hope this is the case.

Josh Gibson only has one playing days card: the '51(?) Toleteros and it is one of the rarest out there. Goes for 5 figures typically.
